reason for this review is to praise the supplier for their response . Even though not their fault, after they required the installer to run new wiring , which his quote provided him to do, but he didn't . They paid another air cond contractor to come out and identify the problem . then suplied the part free of charge and then come back and install the new part .
Not often you get this sort of service from a major company . Very refreshing . I will only buy Mitsubihi Electric in the future .
We stupidly purchased a Mitsubihi Heavy industry 3.5kw unit a few years ago and have regretted it ever since . Same name dirrent factory and performance . So don't fall into the trap like we did .

fault), and despite Harvey Norman ringing their representative and him assuring us it would be under warranty, Mitsubishi have said nope, sorry! Won't be recommending it anymore. I don't see them taking accountability for their design fault so I would hate to persuade someone to buy this expensive fridge and then be in my position in 2 years.

story home.
I referred all family, friends and my community to Mitsubishi reverse ducted and I also fitted out my grandmothers 2 story home with a Mitsubishi reverse ducted in 2021.
I purchased my New Mitsubishi PEA-M140HAA-ZM(3) on 30 September 2025 to replace my PEH 6K 3 and sadly, its not cooling several rooms.
Example:- I turn bed 1,2,3 upstairs on and living downstairs off. Result. I have 2 extremely hot bedrooms and 1 lovely, cool master bedroom. Note even though living zone is switched off downstairs the air still comes out, so in my mind this could be the problem?
I cannot have anyone stay as the smarts in my new system turns the other bedrooms 2 & 3 cooling off when my master bedroom hits ambient temperature - example 23 degrees cool on 3 fan speed 3 bedrooms on only.
Master hits ambient very quickly so the 2 spare bedrooms simply circulate room temperature warmed air.
I was advised the only way to cool the bedrooms together is to try and put my master on at 19 which will not be possible as my master is freezing at 23.
The other solution I was provided was turn the downstairs living and upstairs bedroom 2 on when 1 person stays which means my master and bedroom 3 remain hot and what happens if 2 guests stay, as I cannot have living and 2 bedrooms on.
My old Mitsubishi 14Kw system had no smarts and it worked like an absolute dream throughout the house it was either on or off “no ambient shut down system” no smarts. If I had 2 guests stay I would simply turn bed 1,2,3 on and all rooms were extremely cool and comfortable.
I am so disappointed with this New model M140HAA-ZM(3) and require a solution from Mitsubishi to turn the smarts off so I can run 3 bedrooms (which are all very close together in proximity). Michael Smith said this would be possible for the manufacture to alter. I am still awaiting a resolution.
Perths summer this year has been up to 42 where I have not been able to offer any guest stay, as the bedrooms are as hot as outside.

dryer, it was almost impossible to get clothes dry, sometimes they’d still be damp after hanging for a whole week! That’s why I decided to get this dehumidifier, and I’m so glad I did.
I’ve been using it for a few months now and I’m extremely satisfied. It not only keeps the indoor air much drier and more comfortable (as you can set the humidity as low as 50% in Auto mode), but it’s also been a lifesaver for drying clothes. I usually hang my laundry and turn on the Laundry mode, works better than a dryer in my opinion as don't have to worry about damaging delicate fabrics.
Another plus is that the dehumidifier comes with wheels, so it’s super easy to move around the house. Highly recommend this if you’re dealing with humidity or need help drying laundry without a dryer.

up with this fridge, which I couldn’t be more pleased with. Much better functionality and layout, larger volume, thoughtful features such as the superchill drawer to keep meats fresher for longer, and the separate veggie drawer. Has only been a 3 weeks but can’t fault it so far. I have noticed my strawberries lasting MUCH longer before going soft - previously we would be lucky to get 5days out of them but I had forgot and left a 3 day new pack in the veggie drawer before a 5 day coastal holiday and we came home and they are STILL fresh!
Will update review at a later point after we’ve had this for a year, hopefully the Mitsubishi/Japanese quality stands up (though this version is made in Thailand!)

able to finally keep fruit and vegetables without needing to toss them the following week. It is very spacious and the layout is well-designed. Setting the temperature is done via a dial in the back of the fridge section, which feels a little bit old-school. Initially, this was to be a backup fridge as our large fridge had some serious problems with fluctuating temperatures, but this Mitsubishi fridge is perfect—providing consistent, stable temperatures.

fridge was delivered the next day - Appliances Online do get a thumbs up for that - but it was damaged. The lower back panel was smashed in. I don't know if Mitsubishi Electric, Appliances Online or the delivery guys were responsible for that, but it was extremely disappointing. I contacted Appliances Online. That was a very slow frustrating experience but eventually they organized for a replacement to be sent. Because that was the Thursday before Easter, it was another 5 days before the replacement was delivered.
The replacement fridge was then delivered - meaning another day of waiting for a delivery and not being able to refrigerate my food for two hours - and it has been an annoyance since day one. The left side door catches and makes a dreadful scraping noise every time I open it. The top edges of the doors did not line up and it didn't matter how many times I tried to adjust the feet, that made no difference to the alignment. The repair guy has now told me adjusting the feet makes no difference. So why does the instruction manual tell you to do it?!! The compressor often runs at full force, making an incredibly irritating noise, which goes on and on for hours at a time. On the mid setting, things in the fridge were nearly frozen. I turned that setting right down and still the fridge seems colder to me than it should be and clearly the compressor is running way faster and more often than should be necessary.
I contacted Mitsubishi Electric 9 days ago and the fridge was finally looked at today. Both of the fridge doors needed to be adjusted as neither were sitting in the right position. The top edge of the doors do actually line up now. Why were the doors not attached properly before the fridge was sold?! The rotating partition in the left door still isn't working properly. The repair guy now needs to order a part to fix that, then come back - so that will be yet another inconvenience. And I still don't know what is going on with the thermostat.
When you spend over $2000 on a fridge it should be in proper working order when you receive it!! This is not good enough Mitsubishi. Not good enough at all.

coming from a Westinghouse 700 lt side by side I do miss the digital temp display quick freeze functions ECT. The Mitsubishi temperature controls are located in the fridge under the top storage compartment, and they are both twist dial, no frills, but less to break down. They tell you in the instructions half way for medium packed and more if the fridge is loaded. The power consumption is great compared to my last one. You may have to play with the shelving system in the fridge as it gives you 4 not so high shelves.. The outer sides are textured and the build quality is very good. This is the only fridge I could find sub 3k that had a 5 year warranty on the fridge and 10 on the compressor, most fridges came with 1 to 3 years. At average rrp is $1700 to $1900 I got mine for $1250 from e and s factory outlet, it had 2 dings bottom back both sides and a every small mark, but covered by full manufacturers warranty. If your looking for a no frills no gimmick fridge that will do the job well, give this a look.

quickly removes odours from the room and the PM2.5 that might get in there after a big cook up in the kitchen.
The indicators are handy and the button/functions are all straightforward. It's not complicated and there's no lousy app (which I consider to be good).
Would be better if it had a timer function AND the sleep mode didn't automatically activate the prefilter cleaning, which can be noisey. This woke the baby a few years times at night.
Other that than it's great.
Crisper drawer not keeping vegetables/fruit fresh for longer...the opposite in fact – Crisper is not doing it's job..fruit/veg is going off faster than it should..not sure if I'm missing something..the fridge is fine apart from that but fresh produce should be lasting longer than a couple of days.. was too big to fit in my roof. He mentioned that the new ME range looked very good on paper, so I did my homework and settled on the new ME 18kW unit.
This turned out to be a great decision, it's been operational now for a week and I am very impressed!
Firstly the outside noise is remarkably low. When my wife came home after it had been running for a couple of hours for damper testing etc, I walked her up to the unit and she felt the breeze from the fans about the same time she heard it was working. I have since been able to turn it on in the wee hours without waking her - the outside unit is just outside the bedroom. Even when it's working hard the noise level is remarkably good.
On paper, this also has the lowest indoor noise levels of the units I looked at, and 4 speeds though I am not sure that the AirTouch 5 controller knows that. The specs for COP and EER are also very good and the low power consumption while the unit is running back that up.
The unit starts gently and slowly ramps up to get the temperature to the desired point then gently ramps down to just maintain the temperature.
The weather has been mostly middling so not a real test, I plan to update this review once summer kicks in for real.

After the initial settling in/cooling process, which was a bit loud and lengthy, the fridge is very quiet indeed, much quieter than any I've had before. Top marks for that. The fridge and freezer doors are very easy to open and close, especially for a senior (no silly handles to have to grip through or to slip off), though they're pretty quick to sound the alarm if they're left open for more than a couple of seconds. In other words, know what you're going for, don't stand there looking or you'll get squawked at. The ice-maker tray is pretty nifty (I keep making ice just so I can play with it). The door bins in both the freezer and the fridge are roomy and have excellent capacity. However, they are fixed i.e. not height adjustable, which is decidedly inconvenient. In the fridge, particularly, I was disappointed to discover there isn't enough room between the bottom pocket and the next one up to store a white wine bottle (usually longer in the neck than reds or champagne, which do fit in the pocket) and other taller items. There is provision within the body of the fridge to 'fold-back' one of the shelves to half-width and supposedly thereby allow for taller items to be stored in the front but I find this unsatisfactory; it may be intended as a feature but it diminishes the available shelf space and I'm wary that the 'break' between the two halves causes items to come to grief i.e. spill over. It would have been far more simple and satisfactory to allow the shelves in the fridge itself to be adjustable. So I have a lot of items stored in the doors, rather than on the shelves where I'd rather have them; it did not occur to me to check before buying that the shelves in the body of the fridge and the doors were adjustable because I automatically thought that all shelves in all fridges, whether door pockets or shelves, were adjustable as a standard. This fridge is very deep, which could be a good thing, except this senior has to get down in an awkward crouch to see to the back of the shelves (and bang one's head on the underside of the freezer door getting back up again), which is an exercise not assisted by the poor light within. I've been told by the stockists that these 'low-light LEDs' are standard now in most new fridges; that being so, I still can't see easily. As a senior, I find all this very annoying and user-unfriendly. Also, the fruit and vegetable bin has a 'warp' in it so that it does not close properly, though again I have been told by the stockist that this is by design - to allow air movement in and out of the bin - and is not a flaw. It's disappointing, though, because I would have thought that designers who could come up with that clever ice tray idea could do something better than a warp in the bin to regulate the airflow (even my old fridge did better than that). Having said all that, I assume I'll get used to its limitations and work around them and I look forward to it lasting longer than me! Oh and by the way: thank heavens I had young people on hand to take the front door off its hinges so that the installers could even get it in the house. Buyers, do be aware that you must measure *all* access through-points for this one - it's short and squat rather than tall and thin. Enjoy!
