Dishwasher is rusted inside and outside after three months. Rang ASKO and they won't do anything about it. The worst customer service. The appliances… Read more

from ASKO are not high quality despite the high price. Paid $1699. This is a disgrace and I cannot believe this is allowed to happen in Australia. NEVER BUY ASKO. IT IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY. I HAVE TO THROW THIS DISHWASHER OUT.

Thinking we would lash out and purchase a more expensive and reliable dishwasher, we opted for an asko . From the very beginning there were issues.… Read more

It took 2wks for a service person to attend . Then 2hrs later, and a technical modification by the service person seemed to remedy the problem. Less than 12mths later , a burning smell started to come from the appliance. Another two weeks later and the same service person declares that the main power lead has burnt through its protective cover and he would recommend a replacement. Forward 9weeks later, it is about to be repaired. During the 9 week wait I contacted the so called ‘customer service team ‘ , no less than 5 times, each without response , until this day arriving. Here’s fingers crossed. Oh and don’t buy an asko

Worked well for 2 years and 4 months cost was $1,760. Repairer called was main power control board cost initially $300 then further $700 to repair.… Read more

6 months later same error code. Will not fix again, do yourself a favour don’t buy this brand. When I spoke to customer service at 28 months they told me there wasn’t anything they could do as the warranty was only 24 months. I expressed my displeasure as I did expect a dishwasher that cost $1,760 to last more than 2 years 4 months.

Works pretty well but not amazing. Multiple failures of the heating element and Asko warranty process has been disappointing each time. Long restoration times, not meeting commitments, poor communication. Show details

Asko Dishwasher is terrible – Worst dishwasher I have ever owned. Badly built and when there is an issue (which there definitely will be) you can't get the parts to fix it. Avoid avoid avoid.

Switch failure over $500 for a new switch panel after 6 years – Purchased six years ago as a premium product over $2200 had various issues with drainage and then the machine wouldn’t turn on again after cycle… Read more

unless you reset it at the power point and now I’ve had the dreaded button failure, at $500 for a replacement panel plus labour to install this is not good enough will be looking at other brands. Rang Asko for service advice and assistance and all they could do was forward me to a service agent, seems it’s a waste of time buying premium products in this country. Absolutely no service and poor performance. Up for our fourth dishwasher in 25 years.

OVERPRICED RUBBISH – Asko came with glowing recommendations from near everyone I know so when building our forever home we forked out $2099 of our hard earned money on… Read more

what was supposed to be the best dishwasher on the market. 3 days after install the first machine displayed an F56 message, we rang ASKO and as this fault couldn’t be fixed they sent a replacement.... The replacement came and was clearly not a new one as it had water inside, screws missing as well as the door being dented in several spots and rusty. We should have refused the machine then and there, however made the mistake of still installing it. Since this time, we have had nothing but trouble! The machine does the absolute worst job of cleaning dishes out of any dishwasher I have ever owned so I’m continually having to also hand wash afterwards and the top basket continually drops down causing the door not to shut properly. Asko have been out 3 times since to “fix” it but it’s still no better, furthermore they have drilled into my kitchen cupboards that many times to reinstall the unit it’s permanently damaged them an absolute eyesore from the inside. It is honestly the biggest piece of overpriced rubbish I have ever had the displeasure of owning.

So far very happy with the machine - worth the money – The Asko DFI666GXXL is a great dishwasher. There are many options for cleaning, eg a plastics cycle which works better than an average cycle. I use… Read more

the option to dry but its a great idea to have this separate for power usage reasons. The fact that you can set a specific time for a wash is also handy. This machine also has the option to do a top or bottom load which I find very useful. Still getting used to the cutlery tray which is a bit different to my old Miele. I haven't used the night setting yet but at present have need to do as its its very quite on any other setting. It has been set out to maximise space inside and is very big, fitting a fourth removable tray under the top basket with its own jets. I really like the fact that the trays are removable, so I can fit large baking trays in the bottom easily.

I sometimes scrape or rinse dishes before putting them in the dishwasher only because I don't like cleaning filters although I haven't had this machine long enough to comment on the filter. The filter is differently a better design than the old Miele machine.

It has very little plastic in it, wire instead which is also a plus. So far very happy with the machine and the installer was very nice, and did the job quickly without any drama.

delivery and dishwasher worked for 2 weeks before throwing major errors, flooding our kitchen floor.

Ineffective communication with service department throughout December meant no service arranged until January. Service indicated major component had failed and a repair was suggested, with parts taking more than 2 weeks to arrive.

I have requested a replacement dishwasher from service department, considering the type of fault and amount of time brand new dishwasher actually functioned but they are unable to provide a resolution or timeframe.

Asko was a reliable brand … our last dishwasher lasted 12 years without missing a beat, but after this experience I would avoid Asko at all costs in the future.
