Did AEG advise the setting for towels as I am experiencing scratchy towels when washing. The sales person assured me that it did not have this issue.
Hi, I have recently purchased an AEG washing machine and AEG dryer. I'm actullay concerned after reading all these comments. One thing i have noticed is there is no compartment for sard or napisan. Can someone advise if i can use such products in this washing machine?
Congratulations on your new purchase. I love hearing when others have the same machines as me. Yes, you can use these products in the machine. (I haven't needed to use bleach, so I have no idea where to place that in the dispenser). Not sure if our machines differ, but I place presoaker in the 3rd slot of the dispenser.
My towels come out hard what setting should I wash towels? Also this machine seems very hard on my clothes, everything comes out very crushed - even when I wash it on delicates. What can I do to avoid this?
My towels and clothes come out terrible. Only thing I can do for my towels is after I bring them in from the outside line is pop them in the dryer for 10 mins to try and make them soft again.

Hi Liz, I emailed you with the reference like you asked however I have not had a response. It's been a week now since I emailed you. Can you please respond to my query? Otherwise as a solution I am happy for AEG to take my washing machine back and receive a refund, its under warranty still. I would like to buy a different brand of washing machine that is not so hard on my clothes. I am the only mother at school I know who has to iron the school shirts because the AEG washing machine creases them so badly. Other mothers simply hang them up to dry and they don't need ironing.

Just turn down the spin speed. This will sort out the hard towels and creased clothes. Obviously it spins much more efficiently than what you used before. Stop overdosing with detergent and no fabric conditioner and your seals will be fine with no mould . Dry the seal after use and leave the door open for a day

Can Electrolux please explain why they can't answer the most simple question HERE? The same stock response to every single question and negative review only underscores the impression you get here that the product may be okay but the customer service is crap! Can anything be worse than Telstra? OMG
Yes AEG is worse they just have no idea what customer service is and that negative reviews will stop other people from purchasing there products dry ok washing machine not worth it. Piece of rubbish forever broken and can take months to get fixed service agent in my area don’t care as well. Highly recommended not to purchase a AEG anything
Yep. Electrolux, AEG, Bosch, Samsung, Meile, Asko all seem to offer the same stock responses, or no responses at all; I've crossed just about everyone off my buy list! Are there any brands out there with a good customer service reputation?

Speed Queen looks like it came out of the last century because it probably did - but they're still going! Same story with my beloved 30+ YO Maytag which was reluctantly laid to rest only recently.

Hi there, These measurements are approximate as it’s difficult to be precise as they’re installed. Dryer Height= 840mm Width = 600mm Depth = 660mm Washer Height= 880mm Width = 600mm Depth = 660mm I have stacked them and the overall height (as I have it configured) is 1740mm.

Why still getting small specks of gunk? on cream sheets. Just one queen bed set washed on the 10kg cotton cycle. Have already had a technician out and he explained about using very little detergent plus bi-carb and vinegar as softener for the towels. Today sheets came out with the spots and towels always have to be dried in the dryer otherwise they are like cardboard (oh, and I use the oko for two towels plus hand towel and also give an extra rinse as suggested by your help line). Getting frustrated as only my husband and I but I seem to spend so much time as the 20 min. cycle mostly indicates overweight. Only two people but have to use OKO as the next minimal time wash unless you can suggest anything else.
