I’m unsure about the amount of Almat laundry liquid to add to a normal wash, top loader. It advises to use 1/3 cup which is about 50 or 60 mls. Is that the correct amount? Thanks, Susan
The gold bottled liquid is now clear & runny and does not clean well. Why change it as the previous liquid worked so well? Will not be buying it again as this new formula is no good.

Hi Juliette. Since writing the review, the formula for the Aldi Almat laundry liquid has changed and is not as good in my opinion. I will be using a different laundry detergent, probably going back to my old faithful Biozet. Remember though, whatever the manufacturer recommends (laundry liquid, toothpaste, whatever) is usually more than what you actually need because they want you to use more. For example, toothpaste the size of a pea is enough. I would use half a cap but as I said, it is not as good any more.
Does this (aldi Alma liquid concentrate) contain methylisothiazolinone?

If you have sensitive skin I would recommend buying and using either the new Zealand clothes washing liquid or omo for sensitive skin - it's 20 bucks though, well worth it in my opinion
The new Zealand laundry detergent is called ecostore clothes washing liquid
Also omo makes a sensible clothes washing liquid that is suitable for sensitive skin that is available at the major supermarket chains
