Hamish after much trial and error till I got it right I now ignore the advice on the container as it always seemed to much, I now use half a cap of the liquid regardless of light or heavy stained, but we have soft water where I live if you have hard water you may need to increase it but start with half a cap it might seem to little but this is the best clothes washing liquid I’ve ever used and it’s powerful suds wise hope this helps

Can Aldi be used for dark color clothes?
Yes but dissolve the powder in some warm water before adding to the detergent draw. Wash using cold water to reduce colour loss.
Is the Alsi Almat waging powder a high efficiency powder?
Yes. You may be able to use significantly less powder then listed on the box instructions depending on how much water your machine uses in the wash cycle.

why dont aldi now sell the larger boxes of loundry powder ALMAT 4 k/g boxes. Or can we buy the 4 k/g boxes of almat from another supplier
Depends on product availability due to transport and supplier factors. Almat is an Aldi brand so you can't buy it elsewhere.
Does anyone from Aldi know what happened the the 4kg Almat laundry powder? I have visited several stores in Perth and could not find any in stock. The shelf space where it used to be is replaced with the 2kg box

It would probably be best to check with the manufacturers bit I don't think it would be an issue.

It works well in my Fisher&Paykel machine...I suggest you ask a Miele supplier regards this inquiry if other Miele users do not respond, jencathie
Why is there always a handful of hard powder in my soap dispenser after every wash? It goes quite hard and just about have to chisel it out of the soap dispenser. I have a sink full of the discarded hard residue . Have the photos if needed.

Possibly it would eliminate the powder residue,if you dissolved the powder in warm water prior to adding to wash,Brad,I use the liquid form,continue to obtain great results,haven't noticed any powder residue,hope this helps
I'm with Barb S. I now use liquid as I also had the clumped hard lumps.
It's likely due to humidity
