How do you dim the light on the Arlec glass panel heater
Hi I have an arlec 2400w heater from Bunnings and it started to beep non stop. Any ideas what this might be ?
Cheers
Josh
I don’t have an answer but mine does the same, drives me crazy. But the last years model of the same heater didn’t beep like this. At first I thought it was a van reversing outside, then it never stopped and I realised it was the heater. I think it’s a fault
Why does my heater not beep when I turn the power switch on and I get no heat just the the control panel lights up but controls do not do anything
Cant get mine to go above 22°
Why does my arlec heater beep intermittently throughout the night? There is no rhyme or reason to the beeps however when it does beep it is usually does 4 beeps each time. It is bad enough the display is so bright to now have the beeping going all through the night. Usually have to turn the whole system off to get some sleep
Purchased from Bunnings about a month ago now, love the heater and how convenient the app is with setting timers etc.
Although the illumination on the front of the heater is extremely bright which makes it incredibly hard to sleep, very interested to know if there is any way to dim or turn off the illumination without turning the heater off?
There are 4 mounting brackets and only 2 mounting slots in the heater. How do you mount?
Arlec contacted me. There are holes on the bottom edge of the heater ( hole snd slot) you mount the other brackets there ( They will supply the self tapper screws if required) they just hold the heater parallel to the wall and are not mounted to the wall.
I bought it for a baby and a master room, just terrible. So, sooo noisy (noise of metal expanding, like a tin roof banging noise that keeps waking me and baby up.) The panel lights are so very bright ... I find funny people that designed it havent thought of having a way to dim or get rid of the lights at night....I have silvertape all over the panel to block the light and it is still bright....Also, if/when electricity trips overnight orinternet drops the heater just loses the settings and turns itself on again with no limit to the temperature, it continues to heat hotter and hotter...in a couple of instances I woke up with my baby crying because it was basically cooking in the super hot room, dangerous and nerve wrecking experiences.
