Baby Jogger City Tour Series Questions & Answers
VerifiedHi there just wanted to know if Baby jogger City tour 2 compatible for attaching maxi Cosi mico plus capaule?
Also can I add a toddler board?
Hi EmW, The city tour 2 is only compatible with the city GO capsule, so can't take the Maxi Cosi capsules. Additionally there are no toddler boards recommended for use with the city tour 2. As the city tour 2 is a lightweight stroller with a full recline adding additional weight to the back of the stroller would be a tipping hazard.
We also can't recommend any accessories, including "universal" toddler boards that have not been safety tested with the stroller.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Hiya what is the difference between the city tour 2 and the city tour 2 premium eco, besides recycled material?
It also has black wheels and a cup holder behind the hood. There’s no changes to the seat size or harness or suspension etc.
Hi Jess, Great question. You can find a full side-by-side comparison of the city tour 2 and city tour 2 premium Eco following this link - external link Please let us know if you have any other questions!
I had my city tour 2 replaced recently from the company. I originally purchased in February 2023, and it was replaced September 2023. I have noticed the space behind the seat in the new one provided (when inclined etc) is much smaller, and the fabric is attached with Velcro. My original city tour 2 accommodated much more space and didn't always come undone with the velcro- I could place phone, water bottle etc behind my child's head. Is this an update for the model, or have I been given an older version. Seems like a downgrade.
Hi Elena, Thank you for your feedback. This isn't something we've come across, if you could reach out to our customer service team we can have a look into this for you. Either email through the same communication of your warranty enquiry or start a new enquiry emailing to info@tabc.com.au

Hello,
Just wondering is there a way to increase the height of the backrest or is it not an issue being too short?
My 14month old’s head is at the top of the backrest so assume he will grow out of it quite quick or have people found the height not to be an issue relative to the child’s height?
Cheers,
Kristian
Hello, I haven't found this to be an issue for my 19 month old son yet. I don't think there is a way to adjust the backrest though. Sorry I wasn't much help
Good Afternoon,
you are unable to adjust the height of the seat. You can however remove the mesh at the top of the seat to stop your sons head from touching it. This gives them more head room.
Thank you Baby Jogger Team
I am wondering the difference between the city tour and city tour 2?
Hi Melanie, I do have the city tour 2. I would probably go with another brand overall.
Hi Melanie, Thank you for your question! The Baby Jogger City Tour 2 is slightly bigger all round. It’s a little bit taller, a little bit wider and a little bit bigger folded than the original City Tour. It’s also 100 grams heavier. Though these size differences are so slight they’re barely noticeable even when you have the prams side by side.
The City Tour 2 now also has an adjustable footrest but the BIGGEST update between the city tour and city tour 2 is the newborn riding options. The city tour was strictly 6month+ whereas the city tour 2 offers THREE newborn options: full seat recline as well as optional capsule or cot (sold separately).

Is there a snack tray option?
Not sure, haven't looked into it but I don't think so.
Hi Gladys, Thank you for your enquiry. There's no snack tray for the city tour 2 stroller, although there is the option of a belly bar. You can find all city tour 2 accessories following this link - external link

Is there a place to add a shoulder strap to the city tour 2 like the yoyo?
Hi Emmy,
Unfortunately, there isn't a spot for a carry strap to be attached to the tour 2.
Does Jetstar allow it as carry on?!
Good Morning, thank you for your question. You would need to check with Jetstar.
Thank you
I'm flying with Jetstar soon. However, the answer from Jetstar staff is NO. So frustrated.
Does the city tour 2 have a snack tray?
Hi, I'm looking for a stroller with a tall seat, could you please tell me the seat height of the Tour 2 please? And can you purchase a snack tray for it?
Hi Sam, thank you for your question. The height of the City Tour 2 seat is 42cms to the top of the back rest, and 65cms to the canopy. There isn't a snack tray for the the City Tour 2, though there is a Belly Bar. Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.
Thank you. Would this be the tallest seat in your range? What are the heights of the GT II and Elite please?
Hi Sam, the tallest seats in our range are the City Mini GT 2 and the Elite 2. Both are 49cms to the top of the back rest and 65cms clearance under the canopy. We hope that helps!
This product looks amazing! Is it possible to connect the britax safe and sound isofix travel system?
Thank you
Good Morning, thank you for your message. The City Tour 2 is only compatible with the Baby jogger City GO capsule. Thank you
Hi I’ve got a City Tour 2 and it works amazingly except that thought it fits a Lascal Maxi, the Space between handle space seems too small for our bub Go in So he can computable stand on the Lascal board. Is there a way the handle heig height can be adjusted higher? I doubt so i Guess.
Hi, thank you for your question. The Tour2 isn't compatible with any glider board/stake board. The handle doesn't change heights, it is a fixed handle. thank you
I have the first city tour. Can I purchase a belly bar for it? My 12 month old likes to sit up and hold onto something.
Good afternoon, thank you for your enquiry. you can purchase the tour belly bar from the link below

Can the belly bar for the City Tour 2 be used with the City Tour 1?
Good Morning, thank you for your message. The Tour 2 Belly Bar is different to the original Tour.
Have a great day :)
Has anyone taken this stroller on board an international JETSTAR flight?
Good morning, thank you for your enquiry. It is best to call Jetstar and confirm with them if you will be able to take the pram onto the flight. Thank you
Can you get better wheels for it? Like inflatable ones?
Good afternoon, the wheels that it comes with are the only wheels that have been safety tested on the Tour LUX, therefore we don't have other wheels that go on this pram. Thank you
Hi, I just want to know if there is a compatible skateboard for the city tour?
Hi Whatsabdid,
Unfortunately no, due to the nature of the stroller being light weight and compact. It is not recommended to attach any brand of glider/skate board onto the frame.
