Is it possible to engage the roller at the first speed? I find on our carpet it's not quite enough on level 1 to pick up everything, but level 2 is too powerful and hard to move the vacuum. If the brush worked on level 1 it would probably be perfect.
Never use it on first speed. Level 2 is not too powerful and sometimes I find it necessary to use turbo for short periods.
Hi Steven A, Thanks for the question regarding your Bosch Vacuum Cleaner. When using the vacuum cleaner on level 1 speed the head should turn. If it isn't turning please check to make sure that the head isn't blocked or anything causing the head to not turn. If you need any more help, feel free to contact us on 1300 369 744. Regards, Bosch Home Australia

I purchased my vac 8/08/18.. it is a great vac and has served me well. About a year ago the battery wasn’t charging, I phoned Bosh and they replaced the charger for me.. it has been charging ever since but has never really regained the charge it had previous to that problem, slowly over the past year the run time has gotten shorter, I can no longer get more than 2 mins on full power and about 4-6 mins on lower setting.. when I purchased this vac at Harvey Norman I paid for 24 mths.extended warranty so it is covered until 07/08/2022.. two questions… can the battery be replaced under warranty? And .. do I call Bosh regarding this or Harvey Norman?.. to renew battery or replace… Many thanks Dell

Until now the unit has operated well and has been used infrequently.Your advice would be appreciated Mal
Hi Malcolm, I had a similar problem previously and it was the electrical connector where the handle connects to the main body. The connections do not make complete contact. I think there is a film on YouTube which explains it. Good luck.

What is the problem when the blue light stays on after charging?
Hi Bill, The battery charging status indicator for the appliance corresponds to one of the two following variants: a) The indicator shows the charging status of the battery. Once the battery is fully charged, the indicator lights up in blue. When the indicator flashes, the battery must be recharged. b) The indicator LEDs show the charging status of the battery. - Battery fully charged - Battery semi-charged - Battery low When the final LED flashes, the battery must be recharged.
