VerifiedMPNs: 324615 and HCM2030Can the DeLonghi HCM 2030 convection heater be used with a timer inserted into a wall mounted power outlet. If not, does DeLonghi have a similar product with an integrated timer?
Hi Byron, Thank you for contacting Delonghi Group. As a safety measure and precaution, we advise consumers that it is not recommended to use external items such as times, extension cords, boards or any adapters when using our heating products.
The reason for this is due to Delonghi Group not knowing the manufacturing information and safety regulations of external items used.
To avoid any issues occuring - All heating items should be plugged directly into a powerpoint.

Thank you

Can I use an extension cord with this heater
Can you leave it on overnight?
I’m looking for an economical small heater for my mother, how does this one go for that?
Anita, I live in a 1 bedroom city apartment, open plan lounge and kitchen, high ceilings. I have a small convection heater and use only 1 bar mostly, but I got this little Delonghi to heat up a small part of the open plan area that was cold and it warms up the whole lounge and kitchen beautifully. Worth the investment of the small outlay for the cost. 8/10 rating by me.
These heaters do everything the manufacturers claim, two of them kept on lowest setting and thermostat used worked great. BUT, I have just received my first electricity bill since putting them in and it has gone through the roof. Definately not economical
Does this heater have a fan built in to help with heat distribution?
NO it has heated elements on the bottom of it and the heat is pushed up to the top and outwards...literally in seconds it does that...i got one cos I have a convection heat and the elements are exposed, its also like a panel heater that if it gets k nocked ova its not going to burn the carpet, and its easy to move around....
does it have a tip over cut off safety feature?
No it doesn’t
This one does not but pretty much every other heater we make does. This has the anti frost and thermal cut off safety though and double insulation so the surface is not too hot if accidentally touched.
got mine today and it seems great.. so the thermal cut off kicks in if the unit gets too hot?
That's correct. Glad you are enjoying the heater.
