DeLonghi Steel Elite Fan Heater Questions & Answers
VerifiedHow long can the heater be kept on?
Not long, you'll get tired of the noise and lack of efficiency.
Dear Anisha, Thank you for your question. As there is no running time listed like everything it will need a break. Please ensure this appliance is plugged directly into a PowerPoint with no extension cords or adapters.
We would recommend letting it run for 8 hours, giving it a 30-minute break and starting again.
@ Kat, This is a fan heater, so most definitely blows air and you will hear it. It is not silent or has a silent feature so yes, can be noisy and this is a direct heat product and is considered as a personal fan so up close.
Hope this helps!
Thank you

Thank you soo much
What screwdriver head do I need to open this up to remove dust build up? Thanks
One mounted on a 40-foot pole, which explodes on impact.
How on earth does the 'Setting the Thermostat' to maintain temperature work? The heater gets to max temp and then doesn't restart (ever) even after sliding the thermostat controller until one hears a 'click'!
Your guess is as good as mine! (No idea)
How to prevent/remove dust build up
Hi Tess, THis is a great little heater. When i'm not using mine I store it in an old pillow case and place it in the cupboard to minimise the dust. To clean i just use the vacuum cleaner with the brush attachment so it sucks all the dust in as it moves out with the brush. Have an awesome day.
how do you remove built-up dust please.
I'm sorry Tess but you obviously didn't read my review - the best thing you could do with this particular heater is to cut the cord and throw it out before it blows up.
Any suggestion for a quite fan heater? I got one for kmart and it's too noisy for a small room.
