Ecovacs Deebot N8 Pro Questions

Has anyone had any issues with the map "twisting" after it has been created? Ours does this regularly and the robot becomes lost and can't locate the tower. I now have to recreate the map several times a week which is just draining. I have tried all of the suggestions through the app but always end up back where I currently am. Any new suggestions would be appreciated.

I have the same issue and its very annoying. I will give it one more go then Im returning it ! Its such a simple software fix that I'm sure they could resolve through an app update but ECOVACS doesnt seem to even acknowledge this problem (and its widely experienced judging by a quick search)

No. You give it a task by defining its area via the app on your phone, and letting it go at it. Easy as falling off a log.

How long the battery last

Quite good. When mapping a large house 4x2 plus study for the first run ( with all your doors open) it will head back to the charger as needed and then resume its mapping. This could take a while. Maybe 4 hours or more. It will be cleaning as it goes. It may look more chaotic in route than what it will become once mapped. Ensure all doors are open of all the rooms you ever want it to vacuum in so you get all in the map. Otherwise you will have to make a new map of whole floor level to include rooms you didn’t initially. Then I choose the areas I want done and find the battery very adequate to do this area in my daily vacuum, especially as inbetween sends it recharges quickly to do the next large area. I may move the odd chair or shoe or Xmas tree etc inbetween these bouts of cleaning. Best vacuum ever had. Daily cleaning keeps house floors immaculate - have since bought 2 T8’s (with double battery size) for Mum and daughter but my n8pro is fantastic- I don’t feel the battery difference makes it lesser. You could always get the auto empty Dock to recharge as it empties inbetween if you have a large house you want it to do all in one daily.

In my home, the Deebot N8will run for about 20 minutes, before it needs a recharge. We have thick carpet, which doesn’t help, but during that 20 mins it will do about 20 square metres. I’ve had this little vacuum cleaner now for 6 months, and really like it. Our tired old carpets have never looked better.
