Is it correct that the proper mix rate for the carpet shampoo is 1 part product to 10 parts of water, because that would mean using 250ml of shampoo for each tank refill of my carpet shampooer, making it an extremely expensive product to use.

Hi Lolie, Thank you for your question. For heavily soiled commercial carpets you may need a 10:1 ratio. Foe general domestic use or lightly soiled, you can fill at 20:1. Our product is used by commercial professional cleaners however light duties in a home you can adjust accordingly. Hope this assists. Best EW

Will the product be as effective if you can't wipe the area down. I need to spray into a small cavity and I won't be able to get in to clean it up.

The label says Safe for use on Synthetic Turf. Directors are pour or spray liberally onto stains. Wait 5-10 mins and respray and wipe clean if required. If you have a big area outdoors, you might prefer to purchase the large container. You can get it at Godfreys. Its a little expensive, but definitely worthy it.
