Why has the heel balm been replaced by the Gold version. I have never had any success with the gold. Hate it. Please bring the original back.

tanka
tanka

Hi, if you can get the original it will be called gold as well sold in the bigger tube not the smaller twin packs and singles. The difference (even though deny different ingredients) is the original has a far higher concentration of wool wax or lanolin. I have complained directly to the company but they are in denial. SO To FIND THE ORIGINAL check the fine print the original is made in Australia the crap is made in India. Adrian

can I use eulactol on celulitis

Robert

Sorry, I don't use Eulactol Heal Balm anymore! Since being manufactured in India, it has become an inferior product. Watery composition, large crystallised lumps in the tube. As for your question, I am unable to answer. Try googling?

I have used it on more than my heels, found it useful for ingrown hairs a week or 2 after getting a bikini wax. My beautician said it would be ok and I've had no adverse reactions. It also makes for beautiful hand, arm and leg skin no more than once a week. It might be a good idea to speak to your chemist before using as otherwise directed.

Does it expire?

Bernadette Lamrock
Bernadette Lamrock

Yes there is an expiry date on the bottom . My tube was to expire 8/19 but was so full of little hard lumps I couldn’t squeeze it out without constantly poking with a toothpick . It just became a pain in the butt so I chucked it . Now using a different brand with no issues .

It can go `lumpy but is still effective so use it until it runs out.

I was told not to buy Eulactol if I am diabetic. The chemist insisted I buy another product yet I have used Eulactol for years. My podiatrist seemed to have no problems nor my endocronologist. Is this another store attendant trying to be an expert?

lou
lou

Yes it is.My heels were severely cracked and within a week, the results were wonderful. It was my diabetics which contributed to my cracked feet so I highly recommend the `gold` version of the product.

Does Eulactol cream still have that gritty stuff in it? I used to love it, but when they added the grit, it got all over the sheets and the carpets and I stopped using it. Please advise. Annette

Araliya
Araliya

Yes it does have the gritty stuff but its on the lid and the opening of the tube. It can be a bit messy but it has helped me more than other creams and ointments so I continue to use it.

Many thanks, Araliya. Think I will try and find another product as I really found it unpleasant.

Thanks, Nugget. It looks as though I might have to bite the bullet and buy some more and have a try! I know there are a couple of other similar products - have you tried any of them and how do they compare? Thanks, Sammy

Does heel balm has any relation with heel pain?

Sue2
Sue2

Hi Mostafiz, I'm not quite sure in what context you are referring to pain and the heel balm; all I can tell you is that, for me, the balm was excellent in healing cracked heels and I do not have any pain of the heels whilst using it. Hope this helps.

I've thrown away the box, and the tube doesn't have a detailed list. I'd imagine you should be able to find out by doing an internet search.

Sue2

Hi Carol. I have only ever used Eulactol on my heels, and wash it off my hands immediately after I've applied it, so can't help you with this question, sorry.

There is a use-by (I think) date stamped on the base of the tube. Does this mean it is unusable well after this date?

Georgia McCarthy
Georgia McCarthy

Hi lilian, Most creams and tablets do not work as described and may cause an adverse reaction if used after the used by date. If you do risk it and try the cream just note that it may not work as described. I'm sure your local pharmacist will be able to tell you if it is in fact the used by date or not and the risks if you do use it.
