Verifiedmy machine is saying E37 what is this
Im not sure if this forum is monitored anymore but I have the Error code 37 on my machine. Have emptied the pump and cleaned the filter, there was an earring stuck in there - tried to do a drum clean - error 37 again, drained and checked filter and propellor at back of filter - all clear and clean. Tried a super quick wash - same thing again. Have checked drain hose at the back of machine - seems clear but it cannot be removed. What else could it be? I would appreciate some advice - thank you!

Same here... mine is only 2 months old and I have to put it through the spin cycle 2 or three times before it is good enough for the clothes to not be dripping when taking out from the washing machine
I’m replacing the door seal on my washsmart. I’ve removed the top of the machine and the old seal, how do I remove the front panel from the machine?
You don't. This is the most difficult part, fitting the new seal on the drum, through the front opening.
I get a lot of lint, is there a filter or something to help reduce lint?
There is a filter on the bottom right corner which you are supposed to clean about once a month . Empty water out by the hose and open filter and clean it has instructions in the manual . Also probably make sure the holes in the bottom part of the rubber door seal are not blocked . page 34 and 35 in the manual I received and also you may need to do a Drum clean cycle .
why it says err37 and stop working?
It's trying to drain and the water level has not changed.

when pause in washing cycle ,the machine won't complete the cycle, only play and pause blinking. Any ideas?

You could have too much in the machine or if it's heavy items like sheets they may be tangled
Sometimes this happens if my sheets get inside my doona cover so I have to stop the machine and separate them and spin it again
Mine does this too. It’s incredibly frustrating. My old front loader rarely had this problem but when it did, it would beep to let me know. This one just uses up all the energy until I realise that it’s STILL trying to do a spin

I have a fisher and paykel 8.0 kg washsmart machine top loader model WA8T65GW1. I know it's blocked because it won't empty and all the muck is spilling back up into the machine. How do i unblock it?
Open the square door at the bottom of the front panel and unscrew the filter from the drain pump. Clear any objects out of here and reassemble it
The machine won't do anything except beep when I press any button. I've checked the pipes aren't blocked. Any other suggestions? It's only weeks old and has been working awesomely until now.
You may have a problem with the door lock as if the door is not closed it will do the same thing. Suggest you contact F&P for a technician to visit
Hi try re-opening the door & moving washing a little further inside machine. I have found that occasionally I get extra beeping too. Found it was a part of clothing touching across the rubber seal slightly. After rearranging machine started no problem. Hope it may help
Mine comes up error code 702 brand new 8 kg haven't done load of clothes yet. Any help?
The only error code we had was in the beginning and due to the machine not being set up properly - not level or balanced... can't remember the error code number - sorry! Not much help :-(
er7:02 is a wash motor error. You would have to contact your Fisher and Paykel agent to inspect and repair this issue
Hi, my washing machine keeps stopping with ERR 74 and sometimes 12. It is only 8 months old and these codes started coming up pretty much from the 2nd month. They we intermittent, however now they are coming up pretty much every wash, even during the drum wash cycle. Also the machine is supposed to be super quiet, it was at the beginning, however now it shakes the whole laundry and leaks. What exactly do these codes mean and is the shaking and leaking associated with these codes??

these codes usually indicate too much or wrong type of detergent - can also be a faulty component.
If it is shaking the whole laundry, definitely call aF&P technician (possibly a suspension problem).
We have a F&P 8kg Washsmart which is great, except for towels which dry very scratchy. Fine if you like exfoliation but if you prefer soft and fluffy it is hopeless. Have tried low speed spins which give a marginal improvement. Tried ringing the Customer Care number and waited ages to get answered then was asked to wait again while they sought advice from a technician. During this second wait Customer Care cut me off. Any suggestions on how to avoid the scratch (without using fabric softener)?
I am experiencing the same problem. Noticed when watching the washing cycle there is very little suds actually washing the clothes but when it comes to the rinse cycle it is full of suds and this is what is making the towels scratchy...they are not rinsed properly. I am at the moment washing my towels in just water with no power/liquid. I am monitoring this as I am not happy with this machine and F&P are not answering my questions...will be going back if it does not improve. I am so angry as I had a F&P top loader previously and it was the worst. Swore I would not get another one but Harvey & Norman convinced me this was the best on the market.
What are the spin settings I can select for this machine? I know a lot of people like 1400rpm speed but I find high spin speeds leave towels terrible rough. I would like to know the different spin speeds I can select?
Spin speeds are 1400 1100 800 500 and no spin.
I usually set the spin speed at 800 for light clothing then 1100 for heavier clothing ( jeans , track suites ect ) depending on what I have in the wash plus there are fewer wrinkles in the clothes . I too found that having the speed set at 1400 for towels that they come out hard, but as I usually put the towels in the dryer they do soften and fluff up.
The great thing about this machine is that you can set the wash cycles to suite yourself, try experimenting with different programmes and you will find what suites you .

Is the washer door closed properly? Is the washer paused? If START / PAUSE is flashing it is waiting for a command from you. Is there a user warning or fault code displayed on the panel? Are both hot and cold taps turned on?
Are the inlet hoses attached to the correct taps and to the machine?
Are the inlet hose filters blocked? Check the tap end of the inlet hoses.
Is the inlet hose leaking, twisted or damaged?
Is the water supply at fault?
Is DELAY START set?
My front loader washing machine won't spin clothes properly, it's like it wants to spin but does half a motion and the cuts out.. It repeats this slow/intermittent spin for the entire spin cycle.
I've checked and it's not unbalanced. Wondering if this is a simple fix or a large problem?

This can be caused by a number of reasons. Too much/ wrong type detergent, Out of balance, sensor fault. Did you try a spin with no clothes and see what happens - if it works reduce the detergent amount by 50% and see what happens on future washes.
If not work, call an F&P technician.
My F&P WH8060P1 does about 4-5 loads a week, filter is cleaned monthly and drum cleaning cycle is run about every 2-3 months. Lately about 2-3 of the loads gets down to about the last ten minutes and it beeps and displays 'Tap'. All I have to do is push the start button again and away it goes. Any ideas how to stop it suspending the cycle due to this 'tap' error?
