Verifieddoes anyone know how to reset the services reminder on the 2019 holden equinox?
1.Turn ignition ON (engine can be off). 2.Use the arrow buttons on the right side of the steering wheel. 3.Navigate to: Vehicle Info → Oil Life Remaining 4.When Oil Life % is displayed, press and hold the ✔ (checkmark) button. 5.Hold until it resets to 100%. 6.Turn ignition OFF.
i have tired that
Just bought a LS+ with 32,000ks I am looking to upgrade the Headlights with a LED upgrade BUT MY mechanic said it was not possible due to the fact of getting errors on the dash as the led’s would have a different wattage and he was unsure is an Auto Elec could help. Does anyone know if a LED UPGRADE KIT is suitable.
How to switch from trip 1to trip2
Anyone with a MY18 Equinox and had their MyLink software updated? Have they implemented any "While In Motion" lockouts on the infotainment, e.g., prevent search or changing routes etc?
I purchased an LT Equinox 2 months ago and drove 300ks. The engine light came up so went to the Holden dealer and the spoke to Holden who said replace to clutch plate in the 10 speed. When they disassembled the side access they found shavings in the pan. The 10 speed is now being replaced with a new one. Car has travelled 10000ks and I purchased as a demo. Has anyone else had gearbox problems?
hi has anyone experienced vibration droaning feel around 1200 -1500 rpm between 60-80kph driving steady throttle 2lt 9sp ltz fwd vibration goes away if you shift gears manually beeen to dealer few times done a reset on trans still the same feels like the engine is labouring appreciate any info cheers.
Try checking the battery and remove any accessories. New cars sensitive to clean electrical current. When shifting in manual mode, stop start is turned off, so this again points to electrical. You can also try the stop start defeat trick (google it) to see if it’s that circuit that’s causing the problems.
hi sounds to me like the lock up converter is engaging to early may be the computer needs to be reprogramed thanks for replying cheers
Auto trying to lockup at 60 is kinda weird. When the gearbox is indecisive on lockup it feels more like a distinct shift when dis-engaging (e.g., when throttle is applied) and a change in revs, and I've never felt any sound type vibration during that transition. Even the distinct shift "feeling" is very rare and otherwise its ultra smooth on the nine-speed. Our car always pretty much sits around 60-80. Are you using top detergent fuel like optimax 98? These high pressure direct injection engines are fickle on the drink quality. I would still check the battery as this model has a history of bad batteries as a lot of these cars sat on the lot for a long time unsold - I saw the battery maintenance log on my car prior to purchase and it was extensive. In my previous car the electronic AWD was engaging and disengaging, resulting in low speed vibrations. The cause was bad battery.
Thinking of buying a 2.0l LT EQ demo. Do these come with digital radio? Thanks
No, the digital radio only comes on the LTZ-V model.
Has anyone had issues with dust leaking in the rear tailgate ? 2018 model
No not at this stage. You might have a pinched seal. In the past I have wiped door and rear gate seals clean with a cloth and soapy water. Try afterwards wiping down with a clean rag sprayed with silicone or armourall, which helps with the sealing
Hi, has anyone noticed foul smells that intermittently come through the air vents?
hi has anyone noticed a vibration droning sound from a 2lt 9speed ltz around 1200 -1500rpm at a steady throttle feels like the engine is labouring more noticeable around 60-80 kph feedback appreciated cheers.
Purchased a used Holden Equinox 2018 from Holden Dealer, it had 11,000km on it. I have driven it 2,000 km and just encountered a chugging problem with no acceleration. Engine light came on, on the dashboard and stayed on. The chugging and no acceleration keeps happening. Used premium fuel and done approx 200km on the new tank of fuel before it started happening, so don’t think it was a bad batch of fuel. Any ideas? Would it be covered under warranty?
Just a suggestion as this happened with a different vehicle I had : Get your mechanic to check the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve and manifold for carbon build-up. A build-up of carbon will make the vehicle suddenly appear to loose power/acceleration and 'chug'.
Has any one found the lock lock turning circle a problem , have heard it is very wide
Have owned our LTZ for just over a month, I knew the turning circle was large on test drive but thought it's something we can get over, and I mostly did, you just need to make allowances for it, and most of the time it's not a problem until you get to a tighter car park or needing to turn around on a narrow street, which doesn't happen often. Gets annoying at times, but the price we got it for, the features and the grunt from the 2.0t more than made up for it.
mind you the huge turning circle is only a problem for the top models with 19" wheels, the LT and below have a smaller (though still bigger than average) turning circle.
Great car to drive is there any way to turn off the incoming message beeps. really annoying when on the phone as both myself and the people I am speaking to can hear them
