Hi Jennifer, I have unfortunately had to tell you and others that this is long discontinued, I don't know why, the canister I had came from my mum, who was a devotee.... I only discovered it no longer existed after I wrote the review. :)

Unfortunately Karpet is no longer made. It has been off the market for about 5 years.

No I'm sorry, I've long since thrown away the container, but I searched everywhere at the time and established that it is no longer manufactured.

Karpet was made by The Carpet Maintenance Company, a division of Colgate Palmolive pty ltd. Customer info service 1800 025 800. This is off my very old tin so probably no help.

Where do you buy it

I thought I read some washing powders Do the same unless they are too strong

I haven't been able to buy it for a few years now. Instead I have been recommended to use Preen Vanish Oxy Action from Woolworths. It is also a powder though you need to keep the applicator from Karpet. It is a large packet though I haven't needed to use it as yet.

I'd go with advice above, Karpet is discontinued.

I'm sorry Andrew, it appears to have been deleted from the stock of Woolworths, Coles and Bunnings. I had an old tin and cannot find a replacement anywhere.

I have been unable to buy Karpet for a few years. Instead I have bought Vanish Carpet care powder from Woolworths. I read that is the closest product to Karpet.

I don't think you can buy Karpet anymore. We changed to Vanish carpet dirt remover (any supermarket) years ago. Seems identical. But save the Karpet scraping lid as Vanish don't have one.

No idea for that one, I think it's gone. However we now use Vanish PowerPowder. the powder is just as good, but it doesn't have the corrugated bottom for rubbing into the carpet.

No idea where to get it in Qld. We are in Vic, no idea here either. We now use Vanish Preen Carpet dirt remover. Equally as good and freely available at supermarkets.
