VerifiedMPN: AF701Can I get a replacement basket handle for my anko af701 air fryer .
I am sorry I really do not know as returned the air fryer to K Mart.
Hi I received an Anko af5002 for Christmas. My problem is that I cannot remove the basket. I have pressed the red button but it will not lift out. Am I doing something wrong or is the fault with the product?
We are sorry about this, would you be able to share more information here: external link or call us on 1800 124 125 so our team can assist further.
I also had the same problem and took it back for a refund as unable to clean due to the basket not lifting out. I have a lot of friends though who love theirs, I must have just been unlucky.
What is the diameter of the basket in the Anko mini fryer? I don’t want to know the size in litres, I want to know if a croissant or pie will fit.

I have used the air fryer once and all went well. Now the red release button is not functioning. It worked fine when I released the basket to clean before first use. Any ideas?
Is your airfryer a Kmart Anko 5.3L airfryer, because there isn't a red button on Kmart Anko 5.3L. it's sounds like you have a different brand, might be faulty
It is Anko AF701. The ‘basket release button’ is red

All good. I’ve figured out what I was doing wrong. Thanks for your help anyway.
Bought this anko air fryer as a Christmas gift and my mother went to use it and the timer doesn’t count down. Is this a fault? Can I return it and get a replacement?
That’s faulty I reckon. Kmart are good with returns.
Hi there, we are sorry to hear of this feedback. We encourage you to reach out to your local store for further assistance with faulty products.
Hi, I purchased your Air Fryer AF 5002 model a few months ago and until recently been happy with it. Always clean after every use, but have never been able to release the inside fat drainer part from the connection. I’m not happy as over the weekend I cooked some pork steak fillets, minimal fat. There is, of course, white fat that simply will not soak out with boiling water. Remember from day 1 I’ve been unable to release it from the button inside …. Could you please advise me on what to do. Thanks, Kerry
Do you want to remove the perforated basket from the drawer? Hold the handle and push the top forward and you'll see a red button. Press the button and lift the basket it comes straight out. I hope this helps
Thank you for sharing your product feedback, Floss. We encourage you to reach out to our team via; external link who can help look into product specifics. Thank you.
I have had my Anko 5L for about 9 months. It has been fantastic for so many things. Notably pork and lamb chops and roasts, snags, steaks, veg etc. In the past month seems to be “leaking” fat and juices. Have kept clean and wiped with paper towel, as well as washing the basket and holder, but can’t see where this is coming from. Most is on the right side about half along the unit, and lands on the bench. I use an additional board on top of my bench top as protection. It also started producing a lot of smoke. I reduced the temperature for burgers and snags which helped slightly, but it continues to happen. Would be appreciative of any suggestions.
Thanks
Steph
Return as still under warranty

I need a replacement silicone bumper that sits on the little bracket in the tray where the basket rest on. Any idea where I can order a few as it got damages pretty quickly after only using the Air Fryer a few times.

My little rubber bumper has come off and I can't find where to re attach it
JAC, If it is the silicone one form you Anko 5.3 pan, then you just push the small round part back into the little round hole. It just clicks in and the bigger round part covers the latch.
I have a Anko 5.3 litre air fryer. I’m looking at buying silicone trays. What size should I buy?
I purchased set of three from Temu. Also use a 20cm round cake tin
Thankyou
Thanks Jac for helping to answer this!
Just bought and Anko 5.7 L airfryer. When i unwrapped it, I noticed there is a tiny rubber insert in the basket that keeps it separated from the pan. Can i assume this should be taken out before using? Or is it made of silica and ok to leave in?
Checked mine and no insert there. The fryer gets very hot I think you need to remove it.
Thanks Jac for helping to answer this question! We hope you love your new Air Fryer, Pam.
I have a white Onko air fryer AF485 model and it has a silicone bumper insert in the basket as well. I believe this is to seperate the basket from the bottom tray to prevent it scratching. I have had other brands that have silicone bumper feet on the basket. I’ve been using mine with it in and it hasn’t melted nor does it smell. A more detailed answer from Kmart would be appreciated as the instruction manual does not say anywhere that it should be removed. Thanks
No you don’t take it out, it’s to protect your basket from scratching when putting basket in. When you remover it your basket wil be scratched at the bottom, takes the coating off and then it my start to rust. I need a new one as mine came off and is damaged. I have no idea where to buy them. Amazone sell lots of bumpers but not the one that is in the Anko 5.7 Air Fryer.
No Jack, you have to leave it in, it protects your basket from scratching.

Hai, I recently bought one of this air fryer , but i have doubt whether I can put the baking tin this air fryer or not... Because it is aluminium tin...
Can you put aluminum tin in air fryer? Can You Put Foil in an Air Fryer? - Air Fry Anytime You might also use an aluminum pan to cook in, which is also okay to use in the air fryer. Disposable foil pans can be a great way to reheat food in the air fryer, like lasagna or a casserole.
There is no safety issue in using aluminium foil in this Air Fryer.
Can you purchase the rack that goes into the air/fryer oven

Afternoon The machine I have is ANKO Air Fryer Oven Model:AO2502 Hope this helps Thanks
I am wanting to purchase the baking shelf
Our air fryer has stopped heating - the timer still works (and we've checked the power and tray is in) but it won't heat up. We've had it 20 months. Very disappointed as we use it with utmost care. Please let me know what to do
Unforltunately it sounds like the heating element is not working. Time for another one. I suggest it could be a fuse but dont know where that would be or a wire has become detached. Of course you could get someone to have a look eg electrician but it would cost more than a new air fryer. Just as a note to that We paid $80 for ours a couple of years ago and looking at the net the other day they have risen to around $140. The cost of living has certainly gone up and this is another example of how it is effecting business and Australians.
We're really sorry to hear that your Air Fryer is no longer heating, Vilma. Please call the friendly team your local store to discuss this specific return.
Ok thank you. Will go to kmart n do the needfyl
If its 20 months old it is not under warranty so I dont think you will get a return. Best of luck
Thanks. But I was offered 11$ to rake it off my hands
I cannot release the basket after pressing red button
Keep your thumb on the red button and lift up. The basket should release .

The release button on my Anko Airfryer did not release tonight. The button doesn't appeared to be jammed..basket won't lift out Outside warranty. Thanks for any suggestions
Hi Diane, we are sorry to hear this. Please leave your details and photos of the air fryer via: external link for further assistance.
Tricky one so your saying when you depress the button your allow you to pull it out. Assuming that is the problem. Before you push the button try lifting the handle up a bit and try again. Jiggle it even and try that. If that doesnt work it is obviously jammed at the button or something isnt working on the inside. Simple mechanism. If you do get it out maybe clean the mechanism which is only a clip. All the best.
