VerifiedAlso referred to as: Land Rover Discovery Sport 2025 and Land Rover Discovery Sport 2027.Do any Land Rovers come out with a tracker device incase car is stolen
Hi there It’s Muhammad here. I have a Land Rover discovery sport 2016 the right mirror is broken and I have bought a mirror from eBay it’s from 2015 Land Rover discovery sport but the broken one have 14 wires and the new one have 12 wires is this ok to put it on or not?
Thinking about buying a 2021 Discovery Sport (petrol model) but the reviews are scaring me. Anyone with MY20 models have anything to say on whether the recurring issues have been addressed by now?
Save yourself a significant amount of stress and inconvenience, LR’s look fabulous, but the beauty is only skin deep, these reviews are a good cross section of the problems owners have experienced and the disgraceful manner in which the manufacturer and the dealer have responded.
Hi I’m thinking of buying a 2016 Petrol si4, any issues with this engine and anything I should be aware of? Thanks
Petrol are better if you dont drive lots of kms and less problematic.
First up......just don't do it.....any other brand would be a safer better option. If you do buy, see if the diff has been fixed yet.....
Hi i am looking at buying a second hand 2015 sd4 hse luxury discovery sport but worried about their reliability after reading these reviews? Are repairs expensive? thanks fiona
Hi Fiona, Their repairs are very expensive, especially from the dealers......that sounds like the first model out.....NEVER, I repeat....NEVER.....but the first model......(we did)....that is where they find out all of their little mistakes...and what different parts they should have used. Sorry....not a lot of good words for Land Rover......I now drive BMW and they are so superior...... Good Luck, Mark
thanks so much mark you have probably saved me a ton of money!
Are the discovery sport 2018 TD4 really as bad as everyone is saying in this review?
Yes they are however the best part is mine is 2015 model and it is worse - cannot even get a dealer to help get our of it - yes into another Rover - sad - do yor self a fovour save your money and a lot of stress - by anything else
Ive taken mine offroad- handles just fine even with 19" you are limited by ride height- probably one of only a few good things about this car!
Has anyone had their matter regarding dpf heard in court and won?
No - not that I know of - however have heard in some cases the judge as gone with Rover as they seem to be doing there best to solve the problems - however a different story when out of warranty. Also appaarently I hear some Rover dealers will not touch the product after the warranty period. Also someone needs to look at customer care attitude - perhaps some of us should go to Maurice and Blackburne
Thankyou for your reply. But that's what I was asking. Whether anyone has been to a solicitor with the matter regarding the vehicle. It's all good and well to have a whinge and whine on these forums but has anyone been true to themselves and taken the matter further to court?
Planning to buy a 2019 TD4 110kW SE model with black pack? But after reading some of the reviews I am loosing the confidence in the quality especially with respect to the mechanical issues reported by some reviewers. Any suggestions / reviews on the above model?
Vishesh - keep loosing confidence -that will be all you will loose - I am very disappointed in my Discovery and would recomend you look at another luxury vehicle to purchase
ditto
Hi anyone used this off road ... specially sand/beach ... I am waiting on my DS HSE Lux to arrive in December ... planning a trip in Jan but not sure if I take my (hopefully shiny new) DS
I’d take another car
Depends on the wheel size. 19" wheels aren't great in sand not enough rubber. Otherwise the car would handle it fine.
I've taken mine off road, including sand. It does everything the other models can do, its only limited by its ride height. Also took it on the Land Rover off road experience day... it drove up some tracks I wouldn't even walk up...
Just remember for sand driving to lower your tyre pressure and you'll be fine.
