VerifiedJust received my laurastar XL yesterday , I’m disappointed I don’t realise making vibrating noise on an off , not only that make a cracking noise every time I press the stem bottom . Is this normal ? very expensive iron
Hello Francisca, I am not clear on which iron you bought but all of the new ironing systems and steam stations use a pump to draw the water into the boiler from the water bottle. It's normal to hear the vibrating sound as the appliance needs water. My laurastar S3 won’t turn on. No. Light nothing. PowerPoint are good not tripped but nothing happening, is it a solenoid.

Hi! My steam station was working fine when the steamer just stopped. I checked the holes and blew compressed air just in case it was clogged, but still no steam. The air fir inflating the board still works, though. Any suggestions?

Please, my S4 is leaking water from the leg(stand) what can I do or is there anything I have not done well?
My S4 iron will not turn on when I turn the switch on. I checked the plug and it is ok. Any ideas?

The fan that pushes steam up through the board keeps clicking on even after I turn it off. It happed several times today.

I am debating between the Laurastar Go Plus and the Laurastar S. For those who bought the S4, could you please let me know why you chose it over the Go Plus?
Hi Susanne, please note the GO model is not refillable during use, it has a pressurized boiler and con only be filled when cold. The Laurastar S on the other hand has a continuous refill water bottle which then draws the water into the boiler as it needs it. Hello there . I bought a Laura star Magic S4 in 2007 and Although we had the odd problem, This Iron served us well and was an absolute pleasure to use. Unfortunately it took its last breath a few days ago. I am thinking of reinvesting but My main worry is this ... I am living in Ireland, am I covered under the 2 year Guarantee ?? and my second question is.... In the past I had to ship my boiler over to the UK for repairs which was extremely expensive but to my knowledge there are no repair agents here in Ireland that deal with Laura Star. Does Laura star still have a repair Agent currently in the UK that will carry out repairs ? Look for to your reply Ooh one more question is there two models ...An S4 and an S4a ??

Is distilled water ok to use in the S4a?
no, too pure, use ordinary tap water with our filter installed, call us for more help 1800 999 910
When using, water collects in the base of ironing board and I would like to know if it’s possible to drain out. Currently I have to remove cover, tip the board up and drain water into a bowl. Not ideal.

I've had a Laurastar Magic S4 for 14 years - purchased in London, UK. Recently, the water tank and integrated anti scale filter broke. I would like to replace these parts but can't easily find out how to purchase them and have them sent to me in Bangkok, Thailand where I live now. Can you please help with this?

I have the Magic S4 and have had it for many years. Recently the iron has started getting so hot that it is hard to hold. Can just the iron be replaced?

On initial startup it fills with water comes up to heat and steam is generated, after about 5 minutes the red light flashes and the steam stops, however there is still water in the top tank, have tried flushing the main tank numerous times but problem persists. Any ideas?

My wife's S4 is blowing steam & hissing out of the top of the water resevoir. I have flushed it it but does not make any difference. Dene B
I have not seen this problem. It certainly doesn't seem right. I suggest you contact LS for advice.

Dear sir. Our LauraStar S4 has now a loud noise when connecting to wall contact,(before even pressing on bottom) and when heated up steam blows out off the iron. I am living in a remote area. Is it the solenoid of pressosta Please advise.
