LG 708L French Door GF-V708MBSL (Matte Black Stainless Steel) Questions & Answers
VerifiedMPNs: GF-V708MBSL and GFV708MBSLdid anyone else have trouble with the fridge constantly just gushing out water? my dad has changed the water filter, thinking that might solve the issue but unfortunately it did not and everytime we go to use the water dispenser - water just comes gushing out and we can’t seem to fix the issue (nothing of the wires, hoses etc is bent or kinked) we just don’t know what to do please help
Hi Gabriela. I understand you have a mains pressure water supply model. With my non Plumbed model I dont have trouble with water coming out but I note the pump motor for water comes on more often than when new. But noting you dont have a pump motor I would be checking if water stops coming immediately you remove collection container. If as you say keeps coming out unsure for how long could suggest could be a relay valve not shutting off. Either due to build up of Calcium in valve You could try turning off Fridge immediately at wall to see if turns off water supply sooner. If filter was really dirty with lime build up could suggest relay valve for water.
Dont expect any service from LG as there service is absolute rubbish and you will probably be charged they will say not fault and give you a bill like I had for defective fridge. L G = Lifes Garbage
Hi I am looking at buying this fridge. Can anyone tell me how wide will the French need to be opened? I have a stone bench on the left side which will require the door to be 90 degrees.
If you can only open the door to 90 degrees you won't be able to slide out the crisper. The door needs to be fully open for that. From the back of the fridge to the door seal is 610mm so if your benches are only that deep you could have the fridge door part in front of the bench width and you'd be able to open the door fully if you get what I mean. The closed fridge is 912 wide but if it sits forward from the cavity that's all you need to be able to open the doors
Thanks, I don’t have a fridge cavity but I have a stone bench on the left side and nothing to encumber it on the right side (except a walk in pantry)
