Lipton Chai Latte Questions & Answers

My favourite Chai Latte sachets disappeared again. Surely we could buy these on-one rather than through a supermarket chain?? They are nearly twice the price of similar brands so it can’t be a price point??

Perhaps it’s time to veto their entire range. There are plenty of other brands on the market unfortunately their chai was the best. If they are not interested in what their consumers want … time to avoid them as a consumer.

So very disappointing.....I have discovered another product that I would like to share with you.....Celestial Seasoning, Bengal Spice, herbal tea bags x 20 for $5 from Coles. I find them a little strong in flavour (I am making 2 cups of tea with 1 bag) hope you enjoy them too!

I am totally disappointed too. Selling them online would be a great idea- Amazon use to have them or they could try Catch. I have tried all the other brands only to throw them all in the bin.

Yep. I've not found anything similar either. Looks like NZ sell them still but shipping is ridiculously expensive. Still very disappointed.

I'm in Hervey Bay and also cannot buy Chai Latte anywhere

It is interesting that there are a lot of comments from consumers about the unavailability of these products but nothing from Unilever, the manaufacturers ! Do you not care what your customers think ? At least give us all an answer on what is going on with the deletions.

I agree totally with the above review, I was very dissatisfied to see I cannot buy the Lipton Chai Latte Classic again, after it taking so long to come back into the shops it is now being discontinued, will it be replaced with a similar product?

G'day I'm in far nth Queensland and like to add there's 9 of us in my small town that neither iga or Coles have Lipton Chai Latte Classic. This is the only one that we all drink. Tried others don't even come close to Lipton s to the point neither shops stock the inferior brands at least have it that we can order Lipton's Chai Latte Classic from your mail order section. Cut out the shelf charges. Thanks

Agreed. I will only drink Lipton's Chai Latte Classic. I dislike every other chai latte brand and do not even like the Lipton's vanilla and spiced versions as they are all too sweet. Classic is obviously the most popular choice as it is the first to disappear off the shelves every time. BRING IT BACK!

I too cannot find Lipton's Chai Latte in Woolies or Coles and I've tried others - they're pretty ordinary. I only like Lipton's. I'm so hugely disappointed.

I have been finding it in Woolworths again most times. But I loved the Vanilla one but it's not available apparently.

Loved the old flavour, have tried others while Lipton was unavailable and still have a couple of old sachets and comparing the old with the new, the old is just so yummy. Why mess with it as it seems most customers prefer the old flavour. Please bring it back. The new packaging is rather insignificent and the product gets lost on the shelves. Why on earth did you ever change anything?

Have contacted Lipton...they are changing their packaging Classic will be back on shelves late January and Vanilla Chai will return to shelves Feb-March.

Good to hear, always running out of product and it is my favourite.

I bought a box at Coles last week. Submitted a review, which they are not publishing. I am not happy as they have changed not only the packaging, but the recipe, it is not the same! It seems to be watery (not frothy and creamy), and lacks flavour. Comparing ingredients to the old version, they have changed the the soy/soy lecithin compound, and one other emulsifier. Not acceptable!

I have given up on the product (Chai Latte) and the producer (lLipton, Unilever) I think they are selling us all a load of crap. If they can’t be honest then they shouldn’t say anything.

I'm using the lack of Lipton Chai Latte on shelves to quit a very unhealthy habit.!

omg the new ones are Crap cakes poo!! Bring back the old!!

They are updating their packaging...will be back on shelves in the New Year Feb-March.

I've made several calls to Unilever, the company that makes the Lipton Chai Latte, and they claimed it was ready to be sold at Coles supermarket, and it even appeared in Coles's brochure last week, but it's still not on the shelves.

The person at my local Coles supermarket, has told me that many people have come in looking for the Lipton Chai Latte, and he's frustrated and embarrassed it's not on the shelves, even after appearing on the front page of last week's brochure.

So to answer your question Lorraine, it cannot be far away...

Kaye I've looked in the supermarkets each week and found none, Yesterday I checked out 3 supermarkets in a different area and still none. I'm unable to find out why from Lipton.

Please bring back the Lipton Chai Latte....literally going through withdrawal!!!! Nothing beats the taste of the Lipton Chai Latter sachets!!

I was told by Lipton that it probably won't be back until March 2021 which my husband is not happy about. In the meantime he is drinking the Woolworths brand Chai which he said is nowhere as good but dinks it as a fill in.

Liptons keep saying "please be assured that our Lipton Chai latte is still manufactured and we're doing our best to bring back the stock numbers." - That was 3 months ago. It is now December, there is no stock ANYWHERE. I think they are waiting for ingredients from China, and it is not coming/held-up. What are they putting in the ingredients? And particularly....now that relations with China have soured, what will they be putting in the ingredients?

I checked this out last week and replied to someone else. The story is - there won’t be any more til early next year (Obviously have underestimated the demand) They said that some Foodworks stores might have the vanilla version but I haven’t tried to get any.

According to Lipton, sadly, they won’t be available til early next year. However I was told today that some “Foodworks” have the vanilla version.

I just rang them and they said it should be available by the end of this month in Supermarkets

I also just spoke to Lipton and they said they’ve had issues keeping up with demands and it should be back late October/early November

Its december and l still cant gind it anywhere...dud get vanilla from iga but not the same the orginal

I called Lipton and they said it will be back on shelves,by late October or November... They said it’s just out of stock for the moment. Let’s hope this is true!

Definitely the taste has changed with the new lipton chai latte. It is not creamy and seems watery
