Our KE SF 140129L WH model ceiling fan has been working well for 9 years but now the light has stopped working. Can the light be replaced and how? I'm an electrician, but the light housing doesn't seem to budge when turned left or right. Thanks, john
Graeme The light turns at will? This is only occasional but does happen, during the night? Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks
Hi Graeme, if your fan and light are using a remote control, it sounds like someone nearby, not necessarily in the same household, has an appliance using the same frequency. If you DM us at support@beaconlighting.com.au, the details of the fan/light you have and any remote you have, we will be able to advise as to how to fix the issue. Hello I have a Futura Eco Series Model: LD-140129-48-30
When the fan is on High and Medium Speed the Main Circuit Breaker goes off, while it works fine on Low Speed.
What could be the issue?
Hi Michele, this is not something that we can provide an answer to as the fan would need to be looked at by an electrician to determine where the fault is. If your fan is still under warranty, I would suggest putting in a claim via this link external link , if it is outside of warranty, you will need to get an electrician in to have a look at it for you. I have 2 lucci breeze series sku#213126 that make a beep and try to turn but don't keep going they are only 2 years old is there a reset. Thanks Tim Grinter.
Hi Tim, this fan comes with a 2 year warranty so I would suggest you complete the form on this link external link and our Warranty team will organise a service call for you. Debbie- Beacon Lighting Customer Service
Hi my remote has stopped working. When I press buttons a red light comes on. The batteries have been replaced but still does nothing. It won’t turn on the light or the fan. I looked on the beacon lighting website and I cannot follow the steps to reset as my remote does not have a reset button. Can you please give me some advice on things to try? The fan is only a couple of years old.
Hi, we have had our fan installed about a year now and when we go to turn it off via remote which batteries are fine the fan stops, then starts again but in winter mode direction, push off button again and it will do the same back in a summer mode direction? We are having to kill the the light switch power to it. Resting it hasn't helped.
Hi Reilly, the issue you are experiencing maybe to do with the remote receiver however this cannot be confirmed without getting an electrician. Since the fan is only a year old, I would suggest you put in a warranty claim via this link external link and our Warranty team will be in contact to arrange a service call. How do I sync the remote to this fan.
The red lights shows but neither fan nor light work
The power is definitely on
Hi Goldy, can you please reply back to support@beaconlighting.com.au the SKU number of the fan you have and if the remote was not included with the fan but as an extra, the SKU number of this. From what you are saying it does appear that the receiver unit may have failed, Debbie- Beacon Lighting Customer Service
Dear Madam/Sir,
I have Mercator ceiling fan.
A few days ago, suddenly, the glass cover of my ceiling fan has fallen down and shattered.
Would you kindly advise where I could buy a replacement glass cover for model: LD-140129L-T5-SL.?
I would greatly appreciate your help.
Kind regards,
Sara
I have just moved to a new house where there's a Futura model LD-140129L-SL. The globes aren't working and I can't seem to get the cover off to change it/them, can you help?
Hi Peter, we do not go by the model number provided, we go by a 6 digit SKU like 210xxx however I do believe it is one of the older models. What you need to do is to hold the metal part above the glass with one hand, and with the other, turn the glass in an anti-clockwise direction about a 1/4 of a turn. Sometimes if the glass has been put on askew or too tightly, you need to lightly knock the glass with the palm of you hand in the anti-clockwise direction, like a stuck jam jar. Hi It appears that the capacitor or other failing in the original futura eco fan is aging and slow in comparison to the new exact same model I recently purchased. What the approximate cost to repair?
Hi Robert, capacitors can be sourced through your closest Beacon Lighting store, I do not know the exact costing but around $10-$15 however you will need an electrician to replace this, Debbie - Beacon Lighting Customer Service
How to reset my remote control cell fan for model no: ld- 140129L

If turned off by wall switch when on low and then turned ON by wall switch again it comes back on Full again. Not suitable for baby room. Is There anything we can do. Cant see anything in the book....... Help please.
Hi , the SKU number you have provided is a remote, not a fan SKU. If you can reply back to us directly at support@beaconlighting.com.au with the SKU of the fan (and remote) and the issue, we will see if this is something we can assist with. Debbie- Beacon lighting Customer Service
Hi we just moved in to a new home. It has two Lucci fans with LED remotes. Both have new batteries in them. We can not get either unit fan or light to work. The breakers on the board are ok and we didn’t move the dip switches. The isolation switch on the wall is on when trying. Help ...
Hi Jason, to be able to answer your questions correctly, can you PM us at support@beaconlighting.com.au and image of the fans/remotes and the issue you are experiencing and we can then advise on this, Debbie - Beacon Lighting Customer Service

Installed these fans and immediately above the 3 speed there is a clicking sound. What is the best way to sleeps with this and fix it? My husband thisnks it’s the plastic dome above the blades. I believe it is a balance problem?
The issue could be that the screws that are in the ceiling canopy of the fan, holding the fan to the ceiling are loose or have not be screwed into an appropriate mounting bracket in the ceiling. If this is all tightened correctly and in an appropriate mounting bracket, then it could be a balancing issue and this can be fixed by using the balancing kit supplied with the fan. if you still experience an issue, please contact Beacon lighting Warranty Department on 1800 602 243, Debbie - Beacon Lighting Customer Service
Where do I purchase a remote receiver?
Hi ,
I have a Lucci Futura Dimmable LED Ceiling fan. I bought from Beacon Lighting. The light or fan won’t work. I changed the batteries in the remote. It has an isolating switch. Please advise? We purchased the fan under 2 years ago.
Hi Wayneo, Thank you for your question, my recommendation would be to contact our warranty department on 1800 602 243 and make a warranty claim for this fan as it would still be under warranty and the department would then arrange for a technician to come out and have a look and they will repair/replace.
Kind Regards, Tina Beacon Lighting Customer Service
Model SF 09 T10
Just installed 4 fans and one of them having some issues. The low and medium speed is very slow and almost no movement. But fast works fine. How do I get normal low and medium speed work?
Thanks
Ahmed
Hi Ahmed, Thank you for your question, if the fans have just been installed , the would still be under warranty, therefore my recommendation would be to place a warranty claim in for the fan that is not working , you can find a warranty request form on the Beacon Lighting website or alternatively the warranty department is available on the following number 1800 602 243. Kind Regards- Tina Beacon Lighting Customer Service
I have a luccie fan/light which stopped working not long after 2 years old. The receiver totally died not communicating with the remote and eventually stopped all together. The receiver unfortunately is hard wired into tha fan so I will need an electrician to replace it. Is it work just getting another receiver or just buy another fan? Is this likely to happen again? If so I would like to know that I can replace the receiver myself in a newer model.....
Hi Leona, thanks for your post and I'm sorry to hear about your receiver. If the receiver unit has failed, this can be sourced though your local Beacon Lighting store. The store can provide a costing and availability. I would recommend sourcing the part because it will be more cost effective than purchasing another fan. If you have any additional queries, please contact us on 03 8561 1599 or on webmaster@beaconlighting.com.au. David - BL Customer Service
Hi. I have a Futura Eco 52" fan/light t5 22w I bought from Beacon Lighting sku code 210873. The issue I have, is that the globe failed after 5 years. I bought replacement globe. Only to find out didn't work when fitted. Checked to make sure it was ok, by fitting it into another working fan in another room. Whilst the light doesn't work the fan still does. Didn't make sense. So I checked to see if there was a fuse in the housing. Couldn't see one. Is there a fuse somewhere in the unit that may have gone? I'm trying to figure out whether I need to replace entire fan /light at great expense or could it be something quite simple that can be fixed on the spot, like a fuse or whatever. Sorry I can't help my led light failed after approx one month .I then claimed on warranty and a chap came and replaced it now all ok.The thing I was very impressed with Beacon Lighting were so prompt .The one thing that may help try using one of Beacon Lightings electricians
Hi, the issue with your fan could be that the ballast has failed and needs replacing. This is the square or round "box" in the centre of the globe. This can be purchased from any Beacon Lighting store and the SKU number is 210006 , Debbie - BL Customer Service
Purchased the ballast from Beacon Lighting as suggested. The store didn't have in stock when I went in but had it ordered for me. Had it within a week, so all good. It proved quite simple to replace. Didn't require an electrician. The light works fine now. Thankyou Debbie for your prompt reply. Steve J
