Madura Green Questions & Answers
VerifiedWhy has it become so difficult to find the Madura loose leaf green tea (non-organic) these days? It's driving me crazy, and I'd rather not pay shipping to get it directly from Madura. It's the only green tea I've consumed for the past 15 years. For me it is the best.
Foley, I would suggest that you Email Madura for an answer to your question. ( E: info@maduratea.com.au ) Ph: 02 6670 6000. Address:753 Clothiers Creek Rd., NSW, 2484. This is the best that I can do for you. This information I copied from the base of the Green Tea, tea bags packet. Good luck with your search.
Hi Foley firstly thanking you for your custom over the past 15 years and being an Australian family owned company every consumer is so important to us. I can assure you that you aren't the only person that is contacting us about this product at present but unfortunately it is pretty much out of our hands. What the supermarkets stock is their call and ranging is based on a number of performance factors. Saying that though, Coles still range the standard green leaf tea in select stores as well as some independant supermarkets. If you could email me at info@maduratea.com.au and let me know your suburb and phone number we will do some digging and get back to you with a solution hopefully. Thanking you for reaching out and a sincere thankyou for your support. Regards Gary Davey

Lose
Tea is never the key to any weight loss.
How long do I boil the tea?
Unlike black tea, I don't boil the water, say 90 - 95 degrees. Not sure where I learnt that from, maybe Madura themselves. Works for me.
Always rinse the leaves with a tiny amount of cold water first until they are wet, then add your water which has been boiled and allowed to sit and cool for a few minutes. Then let the tea draw for about 5 minutes and enjoy.
Don't rinse the tea first and let the tea sit for two-and-a-half minutes before removing leaves. You can turn the pot back and forth slowly on the counter for a subtle stir midway. This is perfect for my taste buds. There is no absolutely correct way to make your tea, no matter what people want to tell you.
