I see that there are some very poor reviews of this product, which I am considering purchasing. I also note that these poor reviews are mainly 5 + years old.

Can anyone give me a more recent review, maybe the product has improved

This is a very good product. When I first installed it the draft flap got stuck closed so be sure it flows freely and doesn't get stuck on the exhaust pipe.

Hi there. How do I remove one of the three small globes on the Martec Profile Plus 2? As they’re recessed in I’ve tried turning my blown one with my fingers on the glass front but there’s just no movement. What’s the trick? Thx

First unscrew the 2 heater globes. Then unhook a spring at both ends and shroud will come off then you can grab the small globes and turn anticlockwise and remove. They are a bayonet fitting. Otherwise attach a small suction cup to the globes and turn anticlockwise.
