Matador Conquest BBQ Range Questions & Answers
I bought a matador 6 burner conquest and the doors with it dont fit ? Have I missed something ?
Mine came with all the parts right down to the last nut and bolt. Maybe yours didn't come with all the parts. Did you check the parts check list. If you could show me why it's not fitting, I'll have a look at mine or better still, email Matador and ask them for a parts list
All good I had put the front bar on upside down. The door fit fine now.

I have used my 4 burner Conquest 3 times now with no issues bit this morning there is no gas coming through to the burners...natural gas supply is fine at the bayonet...any thoughts ?
Looking at buying a Matador Conqueat 4 or 6 burner but wondering about the following: 1. Fat drip gunnel along the front seems to go to an open end with no catching device. What is the solution for dripping fat and grease 2. Some reviews have said that the plates rust easily and the bobs melt. Is this still the case or has quality improved
The fat drip goes onto a tray that you either fill with sand or absorbing material. I have had mine for 12 months and never had a problem with the knobs. I have a small amount of rust on the grill, but this is due to it getting so hot and the oil keeps burning off. I need to keep it maintained.
The gas flow has reduced to a trickle and hardly gets a flame on one burner, changed the regulator but still no go. It is not a year old yet any ideas?
All I can think of is you have a partial blockage somewhere. Maybe disconnect, clear out the burners and inlet best you can.
Mine does that as well. I actually bring the gas bottle out of the bbq and start it that way. Afterwards I place the gas bottle where it belongs. I have not been able to work out why that happens
after the first operation a black coating seems to come off the hot plate area is this normal and safe
