Hi, I put my heater into standby and it goes on heating. I want it to stop heating and the only way to do that is unplug it. Is that normal and what’s needed to turn it off? Thanks
My heater is 2013 model and nothing happens when I turn it on also have not got receipt rang Betta electrical where I bought it but have change location and did not transfer paperwork what do I do .

I have a question on my Noirot 2400W Model Number 7358.8.T.
It switches on, displays temperature on LCD panel, and then comes up with "E E".
What is the issue and how can I move past this point?

Hi this may be too late.. however you might like to know that noirot heaters come with a lifetime warranty guarantee. When a friend returned my noirot heater not working I took it to Harvey Norman and they replaced it on the spot with a brand new one...no questions asked!
Hi I am wondering when you went to Harvey Norman if you had to have the receipt from when you originally purchased it. I am having a similar issue but I cannot for the life of me, find my original receipt.

Hi Noirot Just wondering is it cheaper to hardwire the heat panel into Heating and Hot Water wiring rather using Residental Light and Power wiring in Tasmania. I believe the two have different prices. Also is there any benefit between plug in and hardwiring the unit. Thank you for your time

Wall mounted my unit as it gets extremely hot to touch. From a visual perspective I purposely mounted it covering the 240v power point located far right bottom corner... is this safe... is the power lead heat resistant as it touches the panel wich is extremely hot to touch. Noirot advertment shows wall mount with no exposed power lead and power point. Had I know this unit gets this hot I would not of purchased it fire hazard!
I have wall mounted my 2400W heater and it covers the 240V power point located to the far bottom right corner. As the unit gets extremely hot to touch is the 240V rubber power lead heat resistant. Purpose was to cover the power point not making it and the lead visible. Should I be concerned... Also if I increase the heat say from 23 degrees to 28 degrees does this mean the unit gets even hotter to touch not sure technically how the unit operates if anyone could advise.
Hello I have had a DM7358-8T but this winter all we get is a backlit light with no letter display. Have tried everything, also it is alway connected to one outlet. Do I have to get the display unit replaced. Looks like now all I got is a black screen. I cannot get any readout or light. Can someone assist.

Hi - heaters are 14 years old but working perfectly last winter . Both heaters have power light in , display panel working ( older version) but heat indicator light not coming in and no heat? Any suggestions?? Odd they both have the same issue this year?? Thanks , Jill .
I have a fairly large room with high ceilings and bought this heater from the positive reviews I read but it just doesn’t seem to make much difference. It’s 9 degrees outside right now (Not that cold) I’ve had the heater on all day set on 27 and the room temp is marginally warmer than outside. I’m just wondering if it has an issue like not getting full power or if the room is just too big?.. It seems to be producing a similar level of heat as I would expect from a standard old oil heater. How hot should it be to touch on high?.. I can leave my hand on it .. I don’t know why it says spot plus.. it’s the 2400w with timer.. thanks
Legs clips have broken, am I able to get replacement legs?

That's hard to say, However, I have used mine for quite a few nights and I don't think it made any difference to the total bill.
I have had my Noirot Spot Plus for 2 days. After an hour or so of running it will stop heating and E E will show up on the screen. This happens every time.
My five year old heater will not turn on--display is dark. I've tried holding power button down for 20 seconds, but nothing happens. The last time it did turn on, the display lit up but with no text--I turned it off and subsequently it would not turn on.
Why are not using the lifetime warranty?????????
Have done~took some time and visits from two separate people as there were two issues. All credit to Noirot who sent people out to my home at no cost to me as my heater had been wired in.
Hi Jane, was the issue something that is easily fixed once they worked out what was wrong? I am having a similar issue. After bringing the unit out after summer, if I now go to start it up the display won't power on, or if it does it's just the orange light and no text. This means you can't tell what setting it's on or if indeed if it is on (until you can feel heat if it's in the right mode).
However after leaving it running for an hour or two the text does eventually come on. This happens everytime i power off/on the unit. It's almost like there is some internal display battery that is depleted but then charges after the unit comes on, but then drains again as soon as it is off. I'm not sure if there is something I can do to fix the issue or if I need to get it fixed at the factory.
Do you know how they fixed yours?
They had to replace the entire control unit. It took two fixes - first to get the display back, and then to replace the whole control unit (different people as a different job) as the switch was dodgy. It took several months but they came to my home at no charge.

I have had my heaters for a few years and in the last 2 weeks they just stopped heating. How long are they supposed to last for??
They have a lifetime warranty, take it back to the place of purchase.

I’ve had my heater stored away for summer, after bringing it out today and plug in, the display lights up but blank and no heat nothing but a blank screen
