Thanks. I tried all of those options. I also made contact with an Ozzie Mozzie Customer Experience Advisor (Macky) who offered some advice. It was nice to have some prompt customer service, but ultimately the device is not charging. I reached out because I couldn't find any documentation about what the purple light meant. I will give up and send it to an e-waste facility.

The red indicator light means the unit is charging/the battery is not full. Once it’s fully charged, the light should change to green or blue, depending on the model you have. If the red light only shows when it’s plugged in and turns off when unplugged, that’s completely normal - it’s simply letting you know it’s in the middle of the charging process.

Let me help you optimize the Ozzi Mozzie's performance by sending these small adjustments in placement - they can often make a noticeable difference in results: Source Identification: Find areas where mosquitoes are most common. Placing the Ozzi Mozzie near these spots can effectively catch female mosquitoes, reducing the overall mosquito population nearby.

Optimal Height: Position the device between 40-70 cm from the ground (measured from its base). This height range has shown to be most effective in catching mosquitoes.

Shady Spots: Mosquitoes don't like direct sunlight. Put the Ozzi Mozzie in shaded areas, especially at night when it's the main light source, to make it work better.

Wind Consideration: Mosquitoes are drawn to sheltered areas with little wind. Put the Ozzi Mozzie in spots like this to attract more mosquitoes.

Strategic Distance: Place the Ozzi Mozzie away from where you spend most of your time to make sure mosquitoes are drawn to it before they get close to you.

Light Mode: Ozzi Mozzie has two light modes: UV light (blue) and Regular Night light (white). Make sure you're using the blue/UV light mode, as it's made to attract mosquitoes specifically.

I have been sent three of these useless products, the only email I have got a was a standard reply telling me how to use them and wishing me a happy christmas in May. These guys are a joke! I have three zappers. They are all working, all zapping, but they all flash a blue light from the top area that I cannot turn off. Why is the flashing happening? Hi! You can clean your Ozzi Mozzies device using the small brush included in the box. Gently brush it through the grill while making sure the device is turned off. No need to take it apart for cleaning as it doesn't come apart.

As you probably paid by credit card, take the matter up with the bank which provided you with the card.You fill a form online or go to the bank.It's not a complicated procedure.Normally, you would have to return the product, but since there is no answer from China, you will get your refund.Just check the period during which you can claim a refund from your credit card provider. It's usually so many days after you have received your statement. Good luck!

I bought 4 on a buy 2 get 2 offer & they have been great 2 outside 2 inside the only thing wrong is the size of the cleaning brush its too small & useless I use a 1 inch paint brush as bristles reach too the middle better other than that have been very happy with them.
