Hi ,I have a Rinnai /Brivis furnace heater ( underfloor heating ) .The 1F83C-11PRBR (Programmable) controller has a blank screen and requires a new battery ( I think ) Problem is ,how do you remove the front cover to replace the batteries . Have attempted pushing ,pulling ,pressing ,but nothing seems to work . I do not want to damage the controller. Thanks .Phil.

Hi, I have a VERY old Rinnai R60MF (looks to possibly be 25 + years old) that the fan hasn’t worked on in years, is it still possible to buy a new fan motor? Thanks guys :)
I would doubt Rinnai would have parts for something that old but you could always try asking them, if they don't then they may be able to point you in the direction of a second hand parts dealer who can install a later model motor that is suitable for yours.
Hi Wendi G,
Thank you for your question. Due to the age of this unit, we would recommend contacting our Technical Team on 1300 555 545 to obtain advice.
Thanks Rinnai Australia
What a waste of money! We had an Enviroflo 250L installed on 18 June 2020 as suggested by Omega Services plumber to replace our solar hot water heater. We had no idea how noisy or “whisper quiet” 48db is.On 19 & 21 June 2020, neighbour across the lane complained that his sleep was disturbed by the noise emanating from the heat pump. Plumber came on 22 June to inspect & called Rinnai to contact us, however, Rinnai wanted a deposit of $225 before they could send a technician to check the noise level. We had another visit from our neighbour today, 27 June 2020 who suggested that we replace our unit with a standard water heater because he is still disturbed by the noise even if we are only operating it during the daytime. We paid a lot to have an Enviroflo installed to help reduce gas emissions. At the same time, we want to keep the peace with our neighbour of 26 years. What do we do with the newly installed noisy Enviroflo if Rinnai would not replace it unless defective?

I need a longer ventilation duct for the portable air conditioning. Where can I order it from you?
I wish I could help but I am not from Rinnai also I am not a supplier.
Hi Kristine, thanks for the question, replacement parts can be ordered from any supplier of Rinnai products however there is no extension for the exhaust duct. The maximum extension is 1.8 metres.
Thanks Rinnai Australia
Hi, looking at all these reviews I am very nervous of how long it will now take to get my air con unit attended to with temperatures likely to soar into the 40s again...Is there any chance whatsoever that my case that I just logged can be attended to asap as a matter of urgency? We did our first service to our 2 year old unit just the other day using a qualified technician who told us we had a gas leak and it would be wise to contact Rinnai since it is still under warranty. So I did this today. I have two small kids and waiting for weeks to get the air con attended to is not an option. Please help! Happy to give you my details in private. Regards

Tried your number twice and asked for a return call twice...nothing WTH ? This product is installed, installed by highly qualified and experienced guys who have met the strict requirements of the government..it doesn’t work and you have been so slack with your return call.Just how poor are your products if you aren’t returning my calls ?
Thanks for getting back to us Michael, we are sorry to hear you have had issues getting through to our 1st Care department. You can book online at external link or if you would prefer, you can send us your contact details via private message and we will arrange for someone to call you back
Why not just give me a call on 0419571681 and do the right thing..? Fair trading, ombudsman and a Current Affair comes to mind. By far the worst company I’ve ever dealt with in my life.
Never before have I felt so left out in the cold...this is ridiculous.Bought a new Rinnai heat pump and it’s faulty. I have tried to call you since Thursday night, with both my Refridgeration mechanic and Electrician waiting on instructions.I have called twice on Friday requesting call backs with no calls,my Refridgeration mechanic has tried to call and requested call backs with no calls, just what is going on ? My family are cold, what are you going to do ?
Received a call yesterday with a promise of a call back.Rang this morning and had a guy lie to me concerning a service call...how did I know they lied ? Because I rang the service company, and they denied working on Rinnai heat pumps as they don’t do Refridgeration. What are Rinnai going to do for me the customer ?
Why do you not honour warranties?
I'd like to know this also... Tech came out for a warranty repair, refused to even look at the units any further than searching with a flashlight for dust inside the unit, claimed this need cleaning, and he wouldn't work on it while it was dusty, but that the motor and motor controller were faulty and needed replacement under warranty. Then a few days later they called me demanding payment over the phone. I said send out an invoice once the work is complete if it's not covered. They said they don't do invoices, and that the work was complete and no fault was found. The guy spends 3 minutes playing with the remote and taking pictures of dust and leaves, and they feel that's a $299 service! I point out that in the few minutes they looked, it wasn't possible to diagnose a fault and they didn't actually even look for the fault aside from noting that the fan wasn't working properly themselves, and they said that if the technician said it was dusty ( inside where it can't be cleaned ) then that was all they had to do. BAD COMPANY, CAVEAT EMPTOR, Don't expect them to fulfill their obligations under warranty unless you're willing to take them to court. Oh why? I did ask two different airconditioning companies that question, as well as the Good Guys - Why don't Rinnai honor warranties. They all had the same answer. "Because they are B*stards"... Actually, one used the C-Word and the Good Guys who sold it to us apologized for selling a Rinnai and then said they weren't permitted to use the kind of expletives necessary to describe the company when talking to customers.
