Roborock S6 Pure Questions & Answers
VerifiedMPN: SIXPUREDoes it work on dark cobble carpet flooring?
How do u put the dust filter back 2gether
My Roborock doesn't want to work when I have the mopping equipment. It only works without this part, that is, it is only vacuuming the house. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
Have you tried going in to the app and adjusting the settings?
Hi Douglas, it would be highly appreciated if you could email us at customerservice@roborock.com.au with the subject line: URGENT: S6 Pure vacuum issue, and the order number for your purchase. Rest assured, we'll look out for your email and further assist.
How do you remove/refit the main wheel on the S6 pure. I have found YouTube video for S5 and S6 etc but they appear to be different in regards to mounting of main wheel on S6 pure

How do I get the Roborock 6 Pure to mop the ensuite without leaving a wet trail across the bedroom carpet?
I can’t answer this one as I haven’t used the mopping feature as yet. However, I just close a door if I want to restrict the movement of my Roborock. Or put up a barrier of some kind.
Hello there, please be informed that the Roborock S6 Pure mops and vacuums simultaneously and there's no option for it to stop either of its function to skip a certain area. Hope this helps!
We have a mix of carpet & tile so have the same issues. Here's what I do: Divide the space up into tiled & carpeted areas in the App. Keep the S6 dock in a tiled area & when mopping set it to do all the tiled areas first. Then pause, remove the mopping pad and complete the carpeted areas. In your case, this would mean starting in the ensuite, then doing the bedroom. Of course, this means that it can't be fully automatic and you'll have to be in the house to "supervise".
Thank you :)
How do I get the Roborock 6 Pure to mop the ensuite without leaving a wet trail across the bedroom carpet?
The only way to do this is to block off carpet areas or set the ensuite as a separate room & attach mop function once it is in there & remove it when it is done.
Hello, you may use the Roborock App to set no-go zones on the carpeted areas of your home. With this, you may create two different maps for each function.
Is there a way to get the Roborock S6 Pure to cross a carpeted room (bedroom) to get to a tiled room (bathroom) to wash the floor without wetting the carpet. There is no other way to get there.
Hello there, please be informed that the Roborock S6 Pure mops and vacuums simultaneously and there's no option for it to stop either of its function to skip a certain area. Hope this helps!
Why does S6 Roborock delete features eg: mop still in dock message also recently, not giving notifications that it has finished the selected area?
Hello Sally. Glad to have you reaching out to us. In response to your inquiry, this might be due to app updates so we highly recommend updating your app to its latest firmware. If the issue persists, it'd be greatly appreciated if you can send us an email at customerservice@roborock.com.au and we'll be more than happy to further assist you. We're here if you need us.
Is this one good at picking up cat hair?
I dont have a cat but its good at picking up dog hair from floor boards and id say is ok at picking up dog hair from carpets.
I also don't have a cat, but it is very good at picking up dog hair from my tiled floors as well as two short pile large mats.
Hello, Alisha! Thank you for reaching out. Yes! Our Roborock S6 Pure has a powerful vacuum suction of 2000Pa perfect for pet hair, too. If you have a pet, then the other best option is the Roborock S6 MaxV- the suction for pet hair and cat litter is the strongest among all models: 2,500Pa- the only model with twin cameras for viewing at home while away, also for moving around pet droppings - mopping function to clean paw prints from hard flooring, all great points.
If I could help you with anything else, feel free to message me.
Thankyou!
I have two cats and it has been phenomenal with picking up cat hair. Including off of the shag rug, But I don't have carpets in my house, I have tiles and wood flooring. So I can't comment on carpeted houses.
That is wonderful to hear, Sabrina! Thank you for your feedback. :)
Yes, its ok on hard surfaces. Carpet needs an additional clean with our Dyson once a month or so.
I have laminate floors that can’t get wet. Would the mopping feature be ok?
Mine is the same. Will not wash the floors
Hi Helen, there's nothing to worry about! To avoid leaving streaks on your floor, you may change the mode to the lowest setting to reduce the water output via the Roborock app. Kindly be informed that we do not recommend adding cleaner into the water tank as bubbles created by the cleaner may block the filter. For a better mop result, you may spray the floor beforehand - and the Roborock will mop it over that. Hope this helps!
How mop works with priceline mirror polish tiles ? It lives marks when mop?
Hello there, Sam! I'm happy to let you know that all our Roborock vacuum robots have an excellent performance in cleaning different kinds of floors, which could capture fine dust, hair, pet hair, and dirt from floors reaching deeper into carpets! Using the Roborock app, you may change the mode to the lowest setting to reduce the water output o avoid leaving streaks on your floor. Kindly be informed that we do not recommend adding cleaner into the water tank as the bubbles created by the cleaner may block the filter. For a better mop result, you may spray the floor beforehand - and the Roborock will mop it over that. I hope you find this information helpful!
How easy is it to reset the map? We are moving in 3 months and want to use it now and in our new place.
Easy - in the robot settings under maps you can delete the current map and create a new one by remapping then house.
Hi Yvette! Changing WiFI does not reset the maps. Deleting the device from the app, turning the map saving feature off, and pressing the small reset button on the device next to the WiFi LED (resets to factory default settings) are the only things that will delete the map.
How does it go for mopping? Iv read a lot about how good it vacuums but not much on the mopping function (which is why Im looking for one to purchase). Thanks
Hello, Rachel! Thank you very much for your interest in our products. In response to your question, S6 Pure has a massive water tank capacity of 180ml - with an estimated mopping range of 150sqm. Once it cleans that specific area range, you may refill the tank and it'd proceed to mop again.
I loved the mopping function, it can't do heavy scuffs or ones that need elbow grease but its amazing for every day mess/muddy foot prints/small spills etc
Hi there, does this product come with warranty?
Thanks
Yes ! Standard Australian 12 months warranty
Hi Naz! Thank you for showing interest in our products. Any Roborock product you purchased will be under one (1) year warranty and is expected to be free from defects in materials and workmanship when used under normal conditions for one (1) year from the product purchase date.
One of the review says you can't map for mopping only a specific area - is this correct?
If you just want to mop a specific zone then you can add the detachable mopping tank to the robot and just send the robot to that zone. However be aware it is a rudimentary mopping device and there is no way to turn the tank water off and on so the minute the robot leaves its charging point it will leave a wet trail behind it to and from the zone you want to clean.
does animal hair clog up the brushes? I'm not keen on pulling hair out of the brushes every day with x2 dogs and 2cats
Our dog only has short hair but have had no issues with the brush clogging
I haven't had my brushes clog yet and ive got 2 heavy shedding dogs, 3 cats and a bird to clean up after
Hi Alex! Thank you for showing interest in our products. The beak-like cleaning tool is here to help you tackle the hairy issue. the beak design makes it easy to cut off and clear up the hairs tangled in the main brush. It is located at the top of the device underneath the lid beside the dust bin.
Is the Roborock any good for vacuuming and mopping on slate tile floors?
Purchased our Roborock a few weeks ago, our house is completely slate tiles - vacuums no problem, mop function works fairly well, but where the slate is really uneven it won't get into all the grooves, if that makes sense. Still 100% happy with it - we soak the mop pads with a bit of floor cleaner as you can't put chemicals in the mop itself and it does a great job.
Is it good with Timber Laminate floors? Does it release too much water while mopping?
It's fine it just leaves a small skim of water on the flooring. Definitely not too much.
Can the roborock s6 pure clean dark carpet or does it think it's a cliff it will fall off
Our carpets are a light colour but it cleans them in the dark without an issue. So I would say yes it'll be fine.
Ive got a navy floor rug and it handles that fine
Does this work on dark carpet? How well does it clean pet hair on carpet?
How much water does the mop let out? We have hard timber floors and if they get too wet they would get damaged
I have floating boards in my house and I have found the water released to be minimal. I only use the mop system on the boards and the bathroom tiles. I am very happy with the design and operation of the S6. I hope this helps you a little in your decision s.
Thanks so much
Does this mop and vacuum at same time or has to be on two different modes?
yeah, apparently it does both at the same time
That's correct, it will perform both tasks simultaneously but ensure to remove the mop from the device when only using the Vacuum feature. (:
Sue T...where did you purchase from at that price? as it looks like you purchased it recently
Roborock Direct through them have 15% off at the moment or pre order the new model with 10% :)
