My machine won’t start even though all the lights come on…it turns itself off after a few minutes
Everyone says there is no lint trap? Or it’s at the back underneath,.. I can’t pull my machine out away from the wall to clean this…!? Is this the only way? Can’t be? It’s “impossible access” to consumers!?
I’m wanting to clean and check hose. I’ve taken off back but find it very hard to release the metal butterfly clip as it’s facing away from me. Any suggestions?
Payed machine on side and gained access, flushed hose and it seems fine so next is filter, and suggestions how to tackle this??
The hot water is not filling into our Simpson 8kg top loader, when "Warm" is selected for the temperature of the wash. This happened very recently. We have had this machine for 8 (or more) years. I have still not tried doing a 'hot wash', to see what happens. Both taps are open, but only the cold water is delivered, no hot water comes into the washing machine. Can this be due to a problem with a sensor? Thanks. Faye

Yes pls, I'd also like to know, all the manuals I downloaded say it's on the front down the bottom. Mine hasn't got the little door

I'm having the same problem with the same machine. Did you find a solution? I ran a cleaner tablet through it and it came good for a week, but it's happened again.

Has anyone ended up with rancid/toxic (bacteria) smelling clothes? Owned this 3 years and constantly having to replace clothes which have turned rotten. Never smelling clean anymore. I’ve contacted Gold Coast city water to check water supply. I’ve changed products a few times to test for a few months each time. Starting happening about 9 months after owning the machine and now I can only assume it’s the machine? I have done all the drum cleans and bleach cleans and no visible mould and no smell. What is going on?!
Electrolux won’t help me with ideas or suggestions because it’s out of warranty!
I have swf14843 8kg which is not listed here. I have done tub clean used the pineo clean cleaner. And still seem to have lint on clothes all so pet hair. Anyone have this problem
Pine o clean only disinfects the tub, it doesn't actually do much cleaning. The lint and fur buildup could be a sign of poor drainage. There isn't a lint filter to clean so you might actually have to get to the hoses that connect to the drain pump.
I took the hose out of the sink and looked down it and there is lint build up. But not enough to block it
Service manaul says lint filter is inside the drain pump, located in bottom of the machince. Going to try a hose clean out follow by tub wash 2 cups white Vinegar then tub wash 2 cups bleach followed by 2 × tub wash to flash out. Before disassembly to access drain pump. Fingers crossed

The door locks then unlocks then relocks , we need to turn the machine off then back on and open the door immediately otherwise it relived , the door has also become hard to open any thoughts as to the issue and how to fix it please
mine is 7 kg. the door wont open while in lock mode. needs a firm pull and the on off button is very sensative
Love our new washing machine, but find a couple of times it seems to stick at 4 minutes until end of wash stays on it for quite some time not spinning. Is there reason for this?

hi i have a simpson 8kg ezi sensor front loader. when i start the wash it wont stop filling up.. it keeps filling til it overflows.. why would it be doing this?
I normally use the delicates which spins at 1200rpm but only heats water to 40degrees.
How do I keep on delicate cycle and 1200rpm but increase water temp to 60 or 90 degrees?

Hi , We have just brought the Simpson 8k machine and cannot for the life of us stop it dancing around the laundry. We have checked the floor with a level , all good ,put the level on the machine ....all good , the machine does not rock or move when it is not in use , it sits rock solid but as soon as spin cycle starts it take off. We have adjusted legs , used the lower rpm and nothing makes a difference. Thinking of returning it as we expected much more from a brand new machine. Anyone else had this problem or can offer any advise on how to fix. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Kind regards Kellie
Why are you not complaining to the people you bought it from. That is a warranty issue. Likely the belt has fallen off the back.

Hi Narelle, Yes i'm happy to say I have. We hadn't unscrewed the Transits bolts on the back . They look like part of the machine and because we brought ours home ourselves we thought when we read the instructions there wouldn't have been any. But once we took all three out and replaced it with the caps our machine is as stable as. Hope this helps you, we tore our hair out for a week before we figured it out. LOL If you look in the instruction book it will show you exactly where they are.

I have had this washing machine for a few years and it is fine... Just the front door seal...
A whole bunch of mould has grown and I was just after a little help in terms of either cleaning it (tried a few things) or replacing it? I've got the model number and can find the seal etc. but all the tutorial videos online are for differently branded machines and it doesn't look like a simple task. I really can't afford to break it in the process of cleaning/replacing the seal :(

Hi how did you go with this as I have same issue with mould on seal and clothes starting to come out of wash greyish too. Did U replace seal ? I'm thinking I might have to buy a new washing machine
