A lot of folks can repair the air fryer themselves. If the oven light comes on when the door is shut and only have the dashes showing on the control panel. The weak point of this unit is the plastic micro switch lever fails to activate the switch. If you remove the top vent cover (gently lever off, you may break some of the tabs) remove the four retainer screws and lift the top housing off . You can now locate the micro switch at the front. You now need to cut a small piece of plastic 1 mm thick and super glue it to the lever so as there is no gap between the lever and the switch. Reassemble and keep cooking. Eric the bus driver .

Thanks Eric! I’ve already guessed that the triangle lever or 2 metal pin is the issue. Such a bad design

Another easier method: unscrew 2 screws at the top of the door, then you’ll find that it holds the glass cover. You may notice that the middle of the bar has a piece to lever the triangle switch. Put a small plastic piece or even carton paper under so when assembled - it can lift the small triangle switch more stable. Mine was unstable so this worked.
