Tefal Easy Fry & Grill Deluxe EY505D Questions & Answers
VerifiedMPNs: 826250, EY505D and EY505D60Is it normal for hot air to escape from underneath the easy fry and grill. The airfryer sits on a bench top when operating and it gets hot. Thank you.
I wrote a review about this, it’s apparently normal for Tefal ones making them unsafe to use on your benchtop. You’ll need to put them on a heat proof surface if you don’t want your benchtop to melt.
Not had that particular problem - to this date ☹. Just the temperature only ever reads 200 and have to press buttons multiple times to connect Try to contact Tefal on external link and see what they say ... GOOD LUCK!
I won this in a competition and while I love the way it cooks, it looks smart, has lots of functions and its easy to keep clean, it seems really loud in comparison to the air fryer I already owned (a cheaper brand) that I have regrettably gone back to my old one. Is it normally loud?
Hi Suzanne, Following your comment I set up my new Tefal, Fry and Grill next to my less a $100 Onko which I based my previous report against. In a very scientific process, ( I stood 2 metres away from both with my backed turned, whilst Julie turned on each one on separately) I would agree with you that the Tefal is almost twice as loud. It also had annoying time clicks when off if you haven't used up the time as set. However whilst louder in this test I did not find the Telfal noise a distraction when I use it and only conducting the test did I note a noise difference. As in my first review I still find the non digital Telfal disappointing as it requires glasses on to get the temp and time somewhat exact.
Thanks for that. It's mainly quite annoying when someone's watching TV. Otherwise we love it but was just curious in case it was some kind of fault with my machine
Hi, I am thinking of buying a Tefal Easy Fry & Grill Deluxe. How do I know if the appliance has reached the temperature I have set or is still coming up to temp? For instance, if I want to air fry or grill something at 180c, how do I know the air fryer is at 180c and ready for me to add the food into the basket?
Just pre-heat for 15 minutes first for grilling.
Pretty sure I read not to use it empty.
