My tefal GV7550 express easy control had been working amazingly smooth until last weekend when its thermostat light stopped lighting up and the iron started throwing water splashes on clothes (mixed with steam). Just wondering if it is fixable?
Their is a thermostat in the side of it that needs cleaning. Its a little red thing you unscrew. It will need a good wash & a clean & then you can keep ironing.
My iron does something strange. Every time I use it I switch on at the mains and then on the unit itself. After a while all the lights start flashing and the iron isn't operational. I switch everything off and start again and then all is well. It is an annoying facet of the iron. Any ideas on why this happens?
