I can see this is discontinued but still hoping for some help... I love this iron - LOVE - it is perfect, except for my handle is now heating up to the point of burning me. HELP! what can I do?

Has anyone experienced having their iron fixed? This is my second one in just over 5-6 years (first was same but model from a few years before). Both times each iron went from working fantastically to all of a sudden refusing to suck in the water and having the water light on even though the tank was full and clicked into place. Im considering a repair but if it is only a temporary fix or if service is unhelpful I may be better looking at a different brand.

The cord from iron to base is twisted and I can’t untwist it, do I need the cord to replaced?

Fyi have been use for only almost 1 month. At 1st love it so much like I have maid/ helper in the house helping on my our ironing challenge. Till suddenly this morning when my husband want to iron his clothes this steaming iron 1. sound so load and when he press the steam button the water boiling up so loud, and; 2. sound of suction goes up the iron body like boiling inside it ( so scary) 3. Than all the steam water keep boiling and still came out even he stop pressing it the steam button. 4.Why this happened? 5.what is caused of this things happened? 6.We so afraid close all suits for few minutes. And hope it's fine, but we try again up till 3 times and that it. 7. We so frustrated.
