i have the victa vantage with 450 bs engine and single 16” blade. i looked around and blade seems NLA. Can anyone help finding a new compatible blade. Alternatively can it be safely modified for swing blades?
Where to put the engine oil, couldn't find the place in this mower or I need mix it up like 2 stroke engines.

i’ve seen one on the carburettor fuel pickup sitting inside the fuel tank. you’ll see it when you unscrew the carburettor from the fuel tank. there’s a few youtube video on how to do it so you can clean the carburettor if necessary. there may be others i haven’t come across
When I fill my Victa Vantage with new fuel it starts and runs well for approx 10 mins then stops. It is still approx half full of fuel. I then fill it up again and it runs until I have finished mowing my lawn. This has happened on the last two occasions of mowing my lawn. Could it be the fuel filter?
Hi Geoff, Not something that can be diagnosed easily, it would need to go to authorised Victa Repairer to be checked.

It sounds like it’s either low on oil, has too much oil in it, or the air filter is clogged.

Where would I get blades fit it and how much
You can get a blade from bunnings but it is a Ryobi 46 cm single blade modle number RCA4005 the only difference is the centre hole which is bigger but it still fits and works well

how much oil do I put in a Victa vantage mower
I have a vantage model 2691721. Need to change the blade, CA09548A-A is stamped on it. Bunnings don’t sell it and local Victa shop don’t have the number on file nor a likely replacement. It’s an 18” single bar. Any options??
I did try numerous retailers and no one could help me with a new blade bar. Ultimately l did return to Bunnings, the original retailer, and they did, via special orders, order and supply me with a new one. Bunnings please note. I am still disappointed in your lack of back up of replaceable items for this product that I bought from you.
