Hi. I'm soon replacing my tyres and these seem to be a great tyre. Could anyone tell me what the treadwear rating is please. My existing tyres have a rating of 440 and have lasted well - Goodyear Integrity. Thanks in advance. Michael, Melbourne.
I don't really know But I'd say call MyCar tyre and auto on 13 13 28 and they should be able to tell you all the details
Check with my car Auto
I contacted them today with no luck. They told me the speed rating was the treadwear rating which is obviously not. I'll have to personally call in and look at one of the tyres in store.
Disappointed that they are made in China, reviews said they were European made. 225 x55 x17 PT6.
Imagine my disappointment to read the tiny 'Made in the PRC' label inside my R.M Williams sleeveless vest purchasd in David Jones a couple of years ago! Tyres don't surprise me if made under Licence.
PT6 treadwear rating is 360. Just recently bought so not able to comment much on Viking PT6. Past experiences with other brands, 360 are somewhat softer compound, have very good grips, up to maybe 30000km. Expensive michelin primacy4, also with 360 rating reached 50000km and last 5 yrs. Pass that and it start to have crack lines on its sidewalls and remaining soft threads starts to peel. For people looking for long lasting and/or further mileage then should find threadwear above 360.
Viking pt6 treadwear is 360
