I own the MY20 Volvo XC40 Inscription model. Whenever I drive my car in Australia and pass by LED signposts displaying a speed limit of 80, my car inaccurately shows a speed of 60. This issue occurs consistently regardless of the specific signpost I encounter. Upon reaching out to Volvo regarding this matter, they have dismissed my concern, claiming that the height of the signposts is the cause and the car is working as designed. I am curious to know if I am the only one experiencing this problem or if it is a widespread issue affecting other owners as well.

Did you find the gear selector on the XC 40 frustrating to use at first but eventually got used to it? Or do you still find it annoying?

I adapted incredibly quickly. Now I only get annoyed when I drive non-Volvos. But seriously, you’ll adapt very quickly and it will become second nature just like any change from one car to another. Hope this helps.

I swap between a BMW that as same gear box but a better gear selector so it’s a pain. The worst time is when doing a 3 point turn. I often do it too fast and it stays in neutral.

You can get used to it. I got used to having tinnitus. ;^)
