On the filter bowel there is a button to open the bottom of the bowel ,shake loose the "Dust and crap out . You can also unscrew the filter , "anti-clockwise only inside the bowel. It can stick a bit but remove .This can also be rinsed in water , but dry properly. Ps good luck

Hello Ian! Thank you so much for reaching out. In response to your inquiry, we recommend rinsing the HEPA filter with water. To thoroughly remove all dust caught in the filter, kindly rotate the HEPA filter by 360 degrees while rinsing. Lightly tap the filter against a sink several times to remove any excess debris. Then keep the HEPA filter in a well-ventilated and cool place to fully dry.

Please do not forget to fully dry the filter (at least 24 hours) before reinstalling it.

Try to clean the filter. Instructions should show in the booklet. Otherwise Send back fo warranty if purchased less than 1 yr and if more than they may charge a fee for fixing it.

mine seems ok ,dont charge until the battery cool down take out all components some can be washed out with water and allow to dry in the sun. Good luck I've had mine for 2 years and still going but getting tired

Kogan is selling the original Xiaomi. Neither them nor Dick Smith are in the business of counterfeiting vaccuums.

I bought mine from Kogan, it comes with all the warranties etc so there shouldn’t be any problem.

Hi Kimberly B Sorry but we don’t have a dog - but the 3 levels of suction are brilliant and max one most likely would pick up dog hair - as it is very strong!

Yes it goes pick up dog hair that is what I bought it for. My dog is constantly shedding she has fine short hair and it picks it up very well.

I’m not sure you might have to google that but I would say China.

I googled and it is in India with some components made in China

. . . regarding hard floor use I have wooden floors so I don't want them to get scratched by the head.

In response to your inquiry, the Dreame V9 works well with hard floors as well as carpets using all the attachments available :)

That’s disappointing because it is a good stick vacuum cleaner. I bought it through Kogan. Just like you I would have dried it in the sun for a while. They have instruction manuals online. Maybe that can give some more information

Hi thanks, There’s nothing mentioned about it in user manual only it mentions a strong warning to not put water. Feels like the unit has doomed.

Hi Dotti. Yes you can. The charger can be plugged directly into the vacuum in the back of the handle. You don't need the docking station at all. It's just for convenience. Hope this helps.

Yes, and yes. You can have all final attachments without the long pipe and use it in small spaces.

Hi Wendy, The Dreame V9 is cheaper and has a better battery life than the Dyson V7 according to my internet check just now. I have a short haired dog and, whilst he is not a woolly as your Border Collie, he still sheds quite a bit and the Dreame has not problems ... you just have to empty the canister a bit more frequently. Personally, I would go for the Dreame version which includes the two additional motorised heads.

Hi Steph, I bought the V9P or Youmi version which included the soft roller and carpet roller motorised heads. It cost me $AU40 more but it was worth it!! I have loop pile carpet throughout other than a vinyl kitchen floor. When vacuuming I go straight from the carpet to the vinyl without any difficulty other then over the vinyl you certainly notice the suction especially if you are running the machine at maximum power. I also have a Dyson upright which has been relegated to a cupboard. Its performance does not compare with the Xiaomi. Hope this helps in the decision making process. Happy Christmas. Stay safe. Hi Jason, if it's any help I have carpets throughout my home but vinyl flooring in the kitchen and tiled bathroom. I don't bother changing heads just keep on vacuuming and admire a job well done. Just so that you know I bought the package that included two mortised heads - cost $40 more but was money well spent.
