Yard Force 16 inch 125CC B&S Lawn Mower Questions

This mower SE 130 came to me for a friendly fix up. The mixture screw is broken off, seems like there could be a few other bits missing off the carby. It hunts as there is no mixture per se to play with, I was wondering if anyone here knows what type engine is in this thing, I want to see if I could get a replacement carby, there are lots on ebay that cvould probably bolt on. I sent an email to the importers for a spare carb, they replied we don't ship spares it comes in as a sealed unit. I am certain some inductrious poeple here would know what CFM card to get. Thanks for any who could chip in

A week ago I thought I scored a great mower .... near new ... it leaked petrol in my car on the way home.... couldn't get started. New oil new spark plug got it going... ran out of petrol.... filled the gas tank up.... mower now would not start again and over night it leaked all the petrol out. Never known a mower to be so fricken temperamental. Perhaps some one has been able to remedy the leaking petrol and can share with me please

G'day Bernadette. Sorry to hear about your misfortune with your new mower, which must be very disappointing. Our Yard Force mower is over two years old, and still it starts on the second or third pull of the cord. All I can suggest is to check that the fuel line is not broken from the tank to the carburetor. Indeed, after the first year ours did crack and leak, but it was easy to replace, and now all good. For the money, we can't believe that this thing still does a great job. Also, our little mower is fitted with a 'primer pump', a red button on the side of the carbie, and if you forget to prime it, perhaps it won't play-the-game! Good luck.

Thinking of purchasing A yard force 18 inch Self propelled with Honda engine 166 cc seems a good price. Any feed back welcome

Don't do it, we used our 4 times, won't start and mitre 10 don't know anything about them when asked and it is their brand. We now have some scrap metal to dispose of

Mine is a Briggs and Stratton Engine. Still starting well and running well after 3 years. If you buy a self propelled mower make sure it has a five year warranty. Try Kogan Certa, Victa or Honda and pay for extra warranty. The yardmaster 166 CC is very small. Try also Flymo electric or a Stihl battery mower. The Stihl cleans up a large block quick. And no $10 for petrol or dirty spark plugs.

DO NOT BUY YARD FORCE MOWER! It is utter crap, Miter 10 should be embarrassed and ashamed to sell them! Mine lasted less than 8 hr use, would have been cheaper to pay a gardener! Camshaft, lifter or inlet valve broke so now unrepairable, and I know how to repair small engines! Avoid like the plague!

I bought it today , it was really hard to start , when I used it for a hour I stopped it and checked the oil it was just about empty it was filled up to the level I was supposed to before starting it . I used the correct oil, it was sold to me by the dealer . Why was the oil use so much in such a short time ?

You mean camshaft? They are made of patented Chinese butter steel! Fall apart after 8 hours use! There’s a special place in hell for the importers of this garbage!
