My zip tap is only 2 1/2 yrs in use and has stopped dispensing cold water- it makes a noise but not dispensing water. I have replaced and flushed the internal water filter, but it did not fix the problem. Is it possibly a solenoid/water pump problem?
I have a HYDROTAP G5 and the soda carbonation is never consistent. Sometimes will be somewhat like soda and other times flat water.
Irrespective of changing the Carbonation Valve Flow Adjustment, it will never ever be consistent.
Have changed bottles, followed all tips online videos etc to no avail.
Unit is 3 years old, time to cut losses and look for a new company?
Question . I have the Co2- Zip tap . hot -and cold tap The screen says i have 2 percent left in the Co2 bottle , but it is so heavy compared to the empty bottle I have in the garage . Its not leaking . Its still giving me sparkling water. Is this common ,. its done it a few times with other bottles too . Having held a empty bottle , i can feel the difference . Can the system just lie and say that there is only 2 percent , but it 60 percent. Thanks

I have a Zip G5. We leave it in blue cold water mode but a few hours later it keeps swapping to red hot mode and we need to switch it back. It never used to do this. Any ideas?

Just replaced my filter on my Zip Hydrotap (Model BC Home), and get error message: System Faults 006, water Supply Failure. Tried a few things, but didn't help. Tried restarting the system. Tried turn power off for 5 minutes. Tried reinstall filter. Tried to flush tank, but it seems that that water didn't fill up. Tried to the tap, that feed the Hydrotap on and off.
THe ZIP hot water only runs for a few seconds and then we need to push the hot water button again ;to fill a jug take severeal stop/starts

However, the Hot Water test shows "Passed", but no hot water came out. What kind of test is this. Obviously, the engineering of the Zip HydroTap G4 is very bad. Help!!!
I have a 18 months old Zip G5 Hydrotap. My question is ...why is my boiling water pump silent and my chilled water pump is not?
Only Zip or your plumber can answer that. I think Zip need to go back to the drawing board on their product.
The hot water pump is silent as it operates as any normal pump However the chilled water goes through a compression pump which can be noisy even more so if the compression pump is starting to fail
Hi. My 12 yo Dual Zip Tap is dispensing 'hot-ish' (hotter than room temp but not boiling) water from the Chilled water side of the tap. Does anyone have any idea what kind of fault may cause this? Parts may not be available given its age and service is $110+ $50/15mins. I was hoping not to waste the money for a technician to tell me its effectively dead. Thanks for your help.
It's possible that it may be a leaking chilled water solenoid which is letting the chilled flow into the hot when hot is activated. Either that or a jammed backflow valve. Easy parts to replace....buuuut unfortunately, if u don't have an aptitude for pulling stuff apart and knowing what ur looking at, ur a bit buggered.
Sorry, other way round.... when cold is activated leaking hot water valve. Either way. Unless u can sort it urself u have 2 pay but I don't think it would be a "dead unit"
I don't think it's possible for chilled water to be mixed into the hot tank. It;s not much to go on perhaps check the temperature setting which should be set at 98 degrees
I have just replaced the filter on a g4 hydrotap and can dispense cold water but can't get the hot water to work. The red lights is solid but no action. Any ideas?
There are possible 2 explanations firstly the hot pump could have failed or There is a fault with the tap head The red solid light tells the water is hot and ready for dispensing.
I have recently replaced the pump and solenoids to get my zip tap working. Now I am finding when I use the boiling water the ambient water disperses on its own after and runs for about 10 seconds and I cannot turn it off. Can someone tell me what to do?

Hi there, this in relation to a ZIP Hydro Tap G4. Getting some 'water hammering' noises when using either hot or cold water, Seems to stem for the "main in' pipe.
Any suggestions as to how to fix this?

Our Zip HydroTap All-In-One Celsius Arc sleep mode settings aren't waking up the unit at its designated time. The settings were working till recently. I've got it to sleep at 8pm and wakeup and 7am. At 7am, the boiler doesn't automatically start. If I modify the settings, it works the next day, then the following day after the wake-up doesn't work. I also have the 2hrs sleep mode set, which works.
Hi, Has anyone purchased a Zip Hydro Tap All in One G5 B660 Classic tap in Australia please. We have had at least 2 Zip taps and all have had issues but there does not seem to be a comparable product available. This taps provides us with hot/cold and also one tap with a amidant water. Has anyone had ongoing trouble with this tap or great success.
We have a Zip Hydrotap and just replaced the filter. The fresh water tap is fine but the hot water tastes like chlorine. Any ideas why?
