Absolute garbage. I bought the “natural” finish. It’s so heavily pigmented, it may well be paint. It’s horrible to apply. It foams up on the corners… Read more
and runs. The runs dry quickly and you’re left with th runs highly visible like a poor paint job. The pigment dries hard and quickly on metal and glass leaving an absolutely horrific mess which is very difficult to clean. You need at least two coats even if the deck is not bleached or too dry. This was just a maintenance coat. Compared to the standard, hydrocarbon bases oil, this takes more than twice as long, more than twice the effort and the finish is sub standard. Whether it lasts tec as long remains to be seen. Even if it does, it took well more than 4 times the effort to apply for a finish that’s half a good.
It’s one of worst products I’ve ever used

plain pine. It says on the tin that the grain of the wood still shows through - that seems to be untrue. After two coats - recommended by Bunnings - it was just like putting on two coats of gloss paint. We now have to return to the lounge suite manufacturer to replace the legs to the orginal - which was honestly much better.

hardest. I am very happy with the result after 2 weeks. The monarch Deck pad applicator made the job easy. Even cutting in. In future I will give it a clean after 6 months and maybe another coat. Saved a heap by doing it all myself and kept it simple.

The spay can version is terrible, it doesn't give a fine, even spray. Instead it spits and gives drops on the surface. I've had to sand it back once already and after the second spaying there are drops again. Very poor product.

Chose this product in satin to rejuvenate tired kitchen benchtops. Followed directions - applying with a short nap roller, and brush for the trims.… Read more
Concerned after first coat when parts of the job looked milky rather than clear. Upon contacting Vinnie (online project support) I was advised to use a hair dryer on it (residual moisture). Anyway, worked a treat. Much improved benchtops after third coat applied. Really like the fact that there is minimal odour associated with it. 1 Litre more than covered it (probably 200 ml left).

back deck so I mopped it. I noticed a little white spot - could it be bird droppings? NO - the paint had scraped off when I ran over it with a mop. A few feet away another white spot. Bird droppings? No - paint had scraped off. I examined random spots and ran over it lightly with a fingernail. Surely after a week it should have cured? NOPE. The fact that I pained it dark blue over white (which was lightly sanded and pressure washed prior to application) just makes it even worse. Im so angry! All that expense and effort for such a disappointing product. I won't be using it again and I will warn everyone else to avoid like the plague.

it still has a white tint - anything but the clear I was expecting. I’m going to have to strip it off and start again - with another product. Very disappointed.

Great product – Ww loved this product. We have a deck made with celery top pine and dreaded deck week. A light Karcher, 2 coats with this and beautiful natural finish. Recommended. Took less than a day.

The worst spray tan for your timber furniture – The oil was supposed to have a natural finish but turned the once beautiful gum furniture orange instead requiring it to be sanded back to bare timber and there's no assistance from cabots
