Omega Altise

I have owned this for a number of years. It goes wrong every single year. The worst pruchase I have ever made in my life. Support is non-existent - they never answer the phones or reply to emails.

turning off. Tried to find independant repair company as wanted heater fixed asap. Was told by several that they will not repair Omega Altise as parts they are supplied with are faulty and keep breaking down. Do not buy one. I honestly dont understand why a reputable company would sell them. Im going to put mine in the bin.

www.omegaaltise.com.au - you can't. Warranty tab + Customer care tabs return 'error' page not available. Contact tab returns error. Email address on Warranty card bounces back. Update Sept 25 Went back to Retravision who contacted after sales After sales said contact WWA - World Wide Appliances who carry the Warranty After a week WWA contacted me asking for more info After another week they approved my service request After another week they sent out a plumber (Winter is now over) Long story short: Don't buy Omega Altisse

as shown in the online information. The unit kept switching itself off after a few minutes operation no matter what temperature or what mode it was in. I never had a chance to see if it was an effective heater because of this problem. I put it through several modes and turned it off/on several times to check. Luckily I am able to get a full refund from the retailer and delivery was free. Not recommended

summer this can make pleasant. I'm happy with mine and I bought second one for another room. I use thin brushes and wet wipes and keep it cleaned.

is a bit confusing. Set it at 15 and the thermostat will heat the room to 20 degrees before switching off. Just have to adjust the setting accordingly so no big deal. I'm happy with the value of this unit. It has taken a few bumps too, and nothing has broken.

shattered, this has 3 blades which appear to be made out of a different type of plastic. Seems quiet enough on the low setting in breeze mode for night time use. First product iv purchased with a remote though that didn't come with batteries! At first I thought the remote was dead when I did put some batteries in it but the problem was the positive end springs are too compressed and were not making contact. I gently stretched them out a bit with a small screw driver and problem solved. Im finding that more and more common these days with cheap remotes. If you ever have what seems like a dead remote try that first. The oscillating is quiet so far, hope it stays that way. Early days yet but it seems ok. Will be sure to update this if things go south further down the track.

Floor Fan – A good little fan . Easy to use, easy to store , easy to carry around, highly recommended, child safe and very affordable at a price that you can afford easily , cheap but good quality.

Please be cautious with this product – For a product with a 4.6kW strength, it does not compare to what it says it can do. The room it is to cool down is no larger than 25 square metres… Read more

with low ceilings, yet, experience has shown where its 22 degrees outside, 26 degrees inside room with air conditioning operating. Says something.

The noise is high, but can sleep through it, some will struggle.

Took it back to where purchased, wouldn't even send back, even though they're not trained air conditioning mechanics. As advised, it blows quite cool in front but does now cool the room.

There are better quality products, don't waste your money.

I do not like being negative, however, the experience with this product and sales service is not great.

Will have to go through ACCC on this unfortunately.
