When I was paired up with the first date, I found out this person was previously a stripper, had done coke with an ex the night before meeting me and more. This type of person was not what I was looking for. [Name Removed] said they don't ask that many questions. Seems like they only go in-depth with the men. The second date had no personality, didn't give me any definitive answer to any questions I asked. I asked for someone with a bubbly personality not a rock.

When I confronted linda about adjusting my preferences, and asked her if she had made the women adjust their preferences in the past, she said no. Pure bias behaviour, not experience, otherwise she would have treated the men and women equally. To pay $3000 for this matchmaking service is a joke and they should not be allowed to operate. Also they refused to give a refund in full. Only offering half of what I paid, and they still have done that. There is no positives about what she does or this company.

Any man looking at this company for help, avoid at all cost, you will have to foot the bill always and be matched with women that they choose not what you choose.

have got progressively more ill. I read the terms and conditions relating to at least 48 hours notice to recieve a credit in lieu. Gee, that would have been nice if the Gods had decided to work in with [Name Removed] timelines but the reality is that doesn't happen. I also read that a lot of people use this excuse. I am happy to supply a medical certificate, but as I have had no response to the numerous text messages which I have sent seeking clarification or even, at a bare minimum, acknowledging my text, I can only assume that [Name Removed] doesn't care. If you don't care to respond to clients, you don't deserve to be in business. My friends warned me that [Name Removed] communication is terrible. They are right. There are other speed dating companies out there, I will use them. Like my friend, who told me about [Name Removed], I will too, spread the word of my experience. This has left me utterly disappointed for something which I feel is my fault but totally out of control.

but their card payment processing wasn't working, so I followed the instructions to pay by bank transfer(should have noticed the red flag!!). I emailed them with proof of payment, but never received any communication from them.

I went to the venue that night and there was no event. Not only was there no event, the venue had never hosted any speed dating, or heard of this business. They also said someone had come in several weeks earlier with the same situation.

I emailed this business the next week asking for a refund or explanation, but never received a reply.

I assumed they had gone out of business but forgot to take the website down, but now I see new events advertised for later in the year and early next year.

If the business is still operating then I want my money back, and if not then anyone reading this beware they're no longer running events!

matchmaking service. After paying thousands of dollars, I received only one poorly matched introduction and no meaningful follow-up or communication. When I raised concerns, I was met with defensiveness and no accountability.

The service did not reflect the “high-touch” or “bespoke” experience they promote — just vague promises and no tangible results. Despite asking for a partial refund due to lack of delivery, I was flatly denied.

I would not recommend this service at all. Save your money — there are far more transparent and client-focused options out there.

venue when checking in. When I disputed it to the man in charge, he was very impatient by urging me to check in first and contact them later. However, there was no way to find the man again shortly after the event ended. Emailed them a week later to explain the situation and try to reach a solution. No response at all. Followed up two weeks later. Still no response at all. Reported them to consumer affairs with evidence - the age bracket on my ticket and the age bracket on photo copy of their website.

The experience itself was underwhelming. The man in charge made no announcement or explanations. Many people around didn’t know if the event was formally started or not. Also, they had the whole floor booked with at least 40+ table numbers (didn’t check all tables so could easily be much more than that), where participants rotated across table 1-18, 2-19, etc. Hence it was very very loud and kinda chaotic.

there was a limit to how long you can put your membership on hold. When an immediate family member died soon after that, my 6 months of hold ran out. They didn’t care, they didn’t offer me anything. They just said too bad and kept my money. They don’t care about actually introducing you to anyone one. When I was actually active briefly, the sent me offers to go on dates with people that were far beyond my very lenient criteria (e.g., morbidly obese, elderly). If you're serious about meeting someone special then trust me stay away from Loanne Ward matchmaking and save your money. I was fooled into thinking Loanne would find me someone special and I paid lots of money only to be let down. I explained to Loanne what my main relationship goals were and exactly what I was looking for in a partner and it wasn't delivered as promised and as I paid for. Loanne is cunning and will tick a few things off the 'what you're looking for list' just to then be able to say she did her job but at the end of the day they were well below average and my main objectives were not met at all. I understand Loanne can’t create chemistry etc but the thing is these matches weren’t even close to what I wanted so it wasn’t even possible to begin with. I explained in detail what I was looking for and thought Loanne was going to head hunt the right partner for me, all she head hunted was my money. recently which had a lot more men than women booked in, and spent my first 6 dates standing on my own. the host was very disorganised and rushed, and took nearly 20 minutes to check me in, despite arriving 10 minutes ahead of the start time. She snapped at one of the other guys when he asked what time it was starting, saying 'it's already started,m just wait and I'll get to you!' There's no way to tell when the next date starts, and speaking to some of the girls who attended, they told me they had been given free tickets to fill in at the last minute. Venue was nice, but extremely loud and crowded, and I felt like I was in a goldfish bowl as there were a number of members of the public sitting right next to me on some dates. Some dates I timed at 2 minutes, others were 6 minutes. There are other companies who provide much better value for money in Melbourne, they may be a bit pricier but their organisation is seamless, and includes a drink or two in the price - so I probably spent just as much as I would have going to one of their events. Definitely a case of 'you get what you pay for', and I won't be going back.
