Any of the rooftop tents are fine. %100 would steer clear of the annex’s. Leak like a sieve. If you are purchasing a tent to add the annex to then I wouldn’t recommend the kings range. Ruined our holiday

Hi there, There are 2 things you can do to try and resolve this; 1st – go inside the tent while it is opened and you’ll be able to see the 3 u-shaped poles on the ceiling that open up. There will be a black strap on these attaching them to the canvas. Move the straps to the side of the poles to release the tension on the canvas as much as possible – this should allow it to open up completely. 2nd – if the above doesn’t work, open the tent up again, and on each side of the tent around the centre are hinges for the u-shaped poles. You can loosen the bolts on these so they can rotate more, which will allow the tent to open up fully again. Once it is in place they can retighten the bolts. Regards, Courtney

Hi there, The tent is 57kgs. Your roof rack and car must have a weight rating to support the tent + weight of those sleeping inside Regards Mia

Thanks Mia, I am actually after the weight limit that the tent will hold eg. The max amount of combined weight of the people sleeping. I mentioned the weight our racks can handle as somebody commended in a previous post that it effects the overall weight limit of the tent.

Hi there, No roof top tent on the market has a max load rating from what I can find – the load rating is solely dependant on the vehicles max roof load rating. Cheers, Mia

The rooftop tent is great. If you intend on adding the annex I can only hope it doesn’t rain on your trip. The annex is a trip killer! It will leak in the rain and ruin your day.
