ALDI Expressi Machine Questions & Answers
VerifiedHaving just bought a new Aldi coffee machine I have trouble with the pods sticking, bursting inside and dripping into the reservoir. Lever hard to lift afterwards with pressure buildup. I use Vittoria coffee capsules as well as Expressi 14 , both have issues. What can I do to prevent wasting coffee capsules daily as I’m only able to enjoy the odd cup that comes out dripping slowly.
Return it to Aldi for a refund, even if you don’t have a receipt. The machine will never be any good.
Thank you for your prompt response. Can the shipping cost be covered by Aldi?
Not sure about that, sorry.
Same issues here, second machine in 18 months, now residing in the bin, not sure if I'll try for 3rd time lucky...
Machine no longer lights up when pressing the button. Not an electricity problem. Any ideas??
Take it back, their a total waste of time and money.
Our EXP-19CCMB model suddenly started leaking onto the counter. We’ve tried all the troubleshooting steps. It looks like something inside the machine has failed. This is the 3rd machine we’ve owned and the 3rd different model too. Unless we can have this replaced under warranty, we’re not buying any more ALDI coffee machines. They break too easily. We don’t have the receipt from 2025. What options do we have?
Bob,we had one given to us for xmas we used it in the morning then took it back in the afternoon it made a hell of a racket and you had to pry the pods off, they exchanged it for another, bought it home set it up same problem took it back and got a full refund,we already have two of the earlier square models that havent missed a beat in 10 years, good luck with it mate.
That’s disappointing to hear. The first model they sold worked for 3 years but these later models are bad quality. Avoid the ALDI coffee machines- they’re a massive scam.
My machine is only a couple months old. After inserting pod the liquid is going into the pod dispenser and not the cup. Please help and I can’t find my receipt

Water from the pod drains into collection tank this reduces the quality of coffee. Have performed descaling with little effect. How do dismantle the machine to check outlets for blockage?
I dont really know Stuard . My guess would be there is a problem with the blades that are supposed to puncture the capsule rather than a descaling issue .
What also happens quite often is that the capsule drops down too far when inserted so then you have to prise open the front and push the capsule up into place from underneath
Thanks Rob. Checked used capsule and had 3 holes. Also re used capsule, thus having now 6 holes and it again leaked into collection bin.
How do i clean it so it will turn back on again.
Why does the coffee out of my new Aldi Expressi coffee machine have no flavour
Hi, my expressi machine stopped working after 7 months. Bought it for wife at Christmas. No power. Tried resetting but nothing. Any ideas?
Hi, this is our 3rd Aldi machine luckily we got many years out of them but this one is a cheaper version. It vibrates, is very noisy & the water is warm. I think we'll be lucky to get 6mths out of ours. If it weren't for our stash of pods we wouldn't have kept it.
?? I really don't know what the model number is: try K-fee 17-595-white-au-04-1/50545 The locking and piercing mechanism does not puncture the capsules deeply enough (i.e. all are piercing but not deeply enough). What little coffee is being produced is leaking around the pod and dripping into the pod-collection bin. I have dismantled the machine and: 1. nothing is jammed in mechanism 2. piercing pins are not bent 3. overriding locking mechanism is intact and operating correctly
It would help a lot if you could describe the machine or better yet post a photo. It sounds like this is probably one of the machines made by Kruger. From what I have been able to gather, it sounds like the cube. Irrespective all Kruger machines have been discontinued in Australia. Even though these were far more durable than the current rubbish manufactured for Aldi by Tempo, when they malfunction, they do it big time and there’s not much you can do about it.
The issues you are describing sound pretty much like the machine has reached the end of life. I would recommend that you don’t waste any more of your time and energy as once these problems start to occur that’s the end. If you can find somebody to try and fix the machine it’s going to cost you more than it’s worth.
I have been through similar issues and unfortunately, your only options are to either buy one of the new and useless Aldi machines, but frankly, I think you will just open yourself up some more frustration. Probably better to just accept the fact that Aldi and K – fee have abandoned us.
I personally am taking the less stressful path and looking for a satisfactory and more reliable alternative.
Hey MHM Thanks for your response. Yes, it is a Kruger Cube. Not only is the over-centre locking mechanism not moving forward far enough forward to puncture the pods, it then retreats slightly! No wonder the coffee leaks past the pod. You are right - it went into the bin this afternoon. Ciao.
Aldi Expressi machine breaks after 3 - 4 months, used 5 or 6 times a day. Using only decaffi and reggio pods sold by aldi only. Unit always leaks water underneath & then eventually a pop and unit fails, then all water empties from unit onto work bench. 5th unit now, useless. Old one was sooooo much better.
Take it back for credit. I have one of the new ones. Pretty useless. Pods Jam. used pods container too small. Water container too small. But it is still working. Aldi should take them from the market
I have a K-fee machine from Aldi. The coffee pods are falling straight through to the collection container instead of being able to be pierced and used accordingly. Can you please advise what the problem is. Thank you.
Hi today bought my second pod aldi coffee machine old one stopped piercing the pods,my question can I put milk in the water dispenser?
No. Use the separate milk frother.
Hello. I used machinebydqy for first time in a month and it was fine but today no lights will come on when I turn on the power point
Hi I’ve had the expressi machine model number EXP- 19CMB now for 3 weeks but it now does not pierce the coffee pod sufficiently and the water when the pod is in place just runs into the the used pod container, has anybody else experienced this and if so what is the fix?
Just contact the company shown on the Warranty. They will assist you.

Where can I get a new machine for my expression pods
How do I unclog clean My machine it is a KFee 11 6a 04/56594 purchase in aus prob 3-4 years ago only ever used the correct pods
My Expressi coffee machines’s water button needs to be pressed 5-6 times before it will function. Also the middle button used to be like that but have now stopped working altogether.

What have Aldi done with the Irish coffee pods they were great ?? the only dud thing we've had from Aldi is the fly spray, fly's thrive on it
