Why wont our brand new anko grinder not work model CG 85.plugged in clicked into place turn on press and nothing happening
Hi there, we're so sorry to hear about this! We would recommend taking this product back to your nearest store, where the in-store team can assist further.
Hi, how's the ground consistency (especially with medium or coarse)? I don't expect it to be amazing, but just wondering what you guys have experienced with the settings, bcs I found it quite interesting to have multiple grind size on a blade grinder. Thanks heaps! :)
We usually grind med-fine. Consistency is great. If you put in too many beans on the wrong setting it can come out a bit course.
Just wondering is the blade supposed to be loose. Brand new out of box and the blade housing is loose as, very wobbly. Tightens a little once seated in the machine but still wobbly!
Hi Bob I bought this and then found out these kind of grinders produce sub par coffee because they produce uneven sized granules meaning some get over brewed and some get under brewed and ended up buying a small ceramic burr manual grinder off eBay which produces even sized bean granules which in turn produces much better tasting coffee. I’d return it, get a refund and buy the ceramic.
Blade should not be loose. Return as faulty.
If you mean the blade moves when the bowl is removed from the machine? Then yes I would say that is by design, not a fault.
Does this coffee grinder grind fine enough to make espresso coffee, namely for cappuccinos.
Yes it does. I found that setting to "fine" and then setting the cups to 12 but only putting enough beans in for 4 cups, it grinds it quite fine enough. Note the cup size slider switch also increases the grinding time. so between that and the fineness settings, I can get it to grind down to fine dust if I want.
Cost ?
