Automatic Solutions Questions & Answers
VerifiedHi all, I have a single swing gate opener, a “E-guard” when programming the control panel “P1” is set to “01” as per manual but! “P2” has only one option “01” this is not as per manual you are supposed to have 2 options “00” or “11” the option I’m supposed to use is “00” but will show as an option. Has anyone been through this and how do I solve it. The company has given me a new mother board, but it does the same thing so I have a feeling the problem could lay elsewhere?
Hi Les We have never had a product called E-Guard so we are not in a position to comment sorry. Perhaps make contact with the manufacturer.
I have set my gates up but can’t open both at once when I press the open button
Hi Jarrad - There is about a dozen possible reasons but the most obvious is you may have programmed your remote control as pedestrian mode. If you email the service department at service@automaticsolutions.com.au they can give you instructions on where to start to rectify.
Paul B. Could you elaborate on a number of your replies to negative feedback please. You stated that customers were dealing with the wrong business, one being secure entry, that you claim isn’t your business. So can you explain why you list the same address, phone number 07 32086345 and are listed as one of the business names, their are multiple, with ASIC etc.
Hi Blake - I would need more detail to know where it is that I list their address and phone number. I can advise 100% that Secure Entry is not one of our business names. If you would care to provide more detail of these listings it would be interesting to follow up as I know of no current listings although ASIC listings are changing daily.
Please don’t be ignorant. Deny deny deny is always the go to for scammers. You will see all the evidence soon enough. But by all means provide your business ABN and any Trading As details associated. I’m sure that will help confirm what you have just stated in your reply. How about your business phone numbers and registration details with asic. I’ll send you a direct email if provide it? I’ll gladly attach picts and information from multiple government legitimate sites which show identical contact addresses and phone number that these businesses names are all linked to secure entry.
No problem Blake. Please forward to contact@automaticsolutions.com.au. Just as interested as you to follow up your links.
Don’t you mean paul@automaticsoloutions.com.au I see you conveniently didn’t offer the ABN details , phone number/s, address details so everyone can confirm the business is a seperate entity than the over 6 I know of and have details , that are all linked to you guys. And that you keep denying to the many unhappy customers you guys have screwed over. Provide said details to prove your not the crap artist we know you guys are. Can’t wait to see the smiles on all these people that negativity reviewed you bottom feeders, when justice is served
Blake - Here is a challenge for you. Prove to all of the readers that you have a genuine grievance and with whom. State your full name and address and then the invoice number on your purchase and the ABN on the invoice. We can all then have some clue as to what you are trying to communicate. At the moment it is all illogical and incoherent.
No Paul. It’s you who needs to provide the ABN for Automatic Solutions. And explain why your business address, is B5/10-14 Compton Road, UNDERWOOD QLD, the same as Secureentry. ABN 97 613 325 769 Business name From Automatic Solutions SEQ External site 22 Nov 2018 Automatic Solutions Gold Coast External site 18 Jan 2017 Automatic Solutions Underwood External site 18 Jan 2017 It’s obvious why you do not give your full name etc as your a sham business. You’ll get our details in the legal documents soon enough.
No need Blake. The people can read and most people know hoe to use ABN Lookup but I will save you the trouble - It is Paul Bindon. Automatic Solutions Australia 1 Meares Way Canning Vale WA 6155 ABN: 56 118 383 574
Not sure what you are looking for Blake but hope you find it.

Hi Shannon Has never been one of our brands so we are probably not the right people to ask. Is there any other option to open? Push button, keypad, intercom etc. Do they work?

Would love to help Robbie but it is not a model that we have ever stocked or that I am familiar with. Direct to the manufacturers website is probably the best place to start.
I can’t find manufacturers website
Cant you just go back to where you purchased it Robbie?
Are these reviews for the Richmond gate openers?
Yes, I believe so. I installed the gates in 2016 but by 2018 I had the transformer fail, No help from phone calls. Eventually an electrician replaced it. I also had trouble getting an additional remote, I had to drive there after trying to convince someone it could not be synced and had dip switches. Later on in 2019 the circuit board had an intermittent fault I gave up. Removed the entire gate operating mechanism etc and replaced Would have loved some help with the gates. Really poor service so couldn’t put up with any more problems.
Hi Lenny
No they are not. As far as I know you can only get Richmond Gate Openers from Richmond Castors and maybe Bunnings.
We have no communication from Jeffrey Webster at the service department so I assume he is referring to Richmond Gate Motors.
Regardless of what named gates they were, every part was purchased from Automatic Solutions and installed by a licensed electrician. Give me your contact email and I’ll forward thru all the emails dating back to Aug 2016. Not one was answered.
Thanks, email is mylyn8@hotmail.com.
Thanks Jeffrey Look forward to seeing wat the issues were and why left unaddressed. Email is service@automaticsolutions.com.au
End result of this thread is no emails and nothing to respond to.
Hi Guys Is the nylon/plastic interface coupling between the motor shaft and the worm drive end in a E3300 electric hinged farm gate unit available as a spare part ? cheers Garry
If you send a photo to service@automaticsolutions.com.au for confirmation but the answer is yes.
Hi Paul B. Thanks mate for the prompt reply, much appreciated. The motor drive side of the coupling was stripped out after a pair of muscle heads got the gate open to get themselves and car into front yard.It appears the manual override switch marked press to open on the gate post was too much of a challenge to get their heads around. After asking about the said part at the local Franchise the answer was to get a new complete unit at $538.00 from him was the answer. As you know the motor case has three bolts holding it together, the part can be put on the palm of a kids hand and the whole job can be done and dusted in half an hour after you get the part. With a bit of thought and care I have repaired the coupling and have the gate working perfectly again so I can't take any photos of it, didn't think of it at the time although I did take careful measurements with a vernier incase I have to make a mark two version.I was reluctant to take the local man up on his $500.00 offer at this stage as the gate opener is only about a month old and thought it strange that this part which seems to be designed as the fail safe to the drive system is not available on its own as a replacement part. I'll shoot off an email to service etc. tomorrow and see what comes of it, I take it there is a web site for parts ? Thanks again for your help, its good to know there is life on the other side of the screen after all. Have a good year, cheers Garry.
What is the email address for Automatic Solutions head office
There are a number Harry but the easy one is service@automaticsolutions.com.au and they will redirect if necessary.
We got our electric gates from here. We have no power to them. Can’t get out of our property. We came home after work they were fine. Went to go out 1 hr later no power to gates we are trapped
Hi Gaye If it is simply a problem of no power you should use the manual release to open the gates. If you actually do have power to the property but none to the gates please ring your local branch to organise a technician.
You can also email the service desk with your details. Please include address etc. service@automaticsolutions.com.au
