Hi G. Turner, Thank you for your query. It is not advisable to use an electric blanket on a memory foam mattress or a memory foam topper. Why? This is because the foam is already temperature sensitive, which means putting a hot blanket on top of it may cause more harm than good.

Memory foam is made out of visco elastic material which has the unique ability to conform to your body, rather than the other way around. It is able to do this by responding to your body heat, softening in the areas where you need it to most.

Therefore, by placing your electric blanket on top of your foam mattress may cause it to soften even further which will prevent it from giving you the adequate level of support that you need.

Thanks. I was aware just wanted to make sure. I love the topper but the pillows are totally horrible as they’re too dense and have no give, thus making them unusable. Useful as a prop only.

This is because a Memory Foam's most unique quality is its temperature sensitivity, which softens the foam in contact with the body, cradling areas that normally receive pressure and supporting areas that typically do not. This contouring relieves pressure points, increases circulation and aligns the spine and other joints. While remaining firm, air is passed through the foam with every movement, dissipating body heat and keeping the user cool.

With this, you can mould the Bambillo and shape it into your perfect pillow and that helps support and align the vital nerves in your neck.

In terms of how long it will last will depend on the condition of the mattress or the surface it is used on, and how often the cover is washed. On average, the Gel-Tek Memory Foam will give at least 5 years of comfort and support.

I got one and it was so soft it gave us really bad backs. I ended up giving it to my daughter I was very unimpressed especially for the price. I've since purchased another via a bed / back speciality shop and it's way better and more than half the price
