Hi beyond bank I changed my Centrelink payment details to my new beyond bank account... And the payment was processed at 1201am today previous comm bank recieved funds within the hour but Ive still at 730pm not received funds in beyond bank. Is this normal please??
Hi Josh - Payments using your account details that are sent via the traditional direct entry system (instead of Osko) can take up to 24 hours to arrive into your account, but will be available in your account as soon as it is received as long as the account details match. However, typically ongoing payments such as government payments will arrive quicker and most centrelink payments will arrive in the early hours of the morning on the day of the payment. If you do have any issues, please reach out on 13 25 85 and we would be happy to help. ^SR
Does my Centrelink payment go in early
No
Hi Annmaree - While it can vary slightly, most regular government payments will typically go into your account during the early hours of the morning. ^SR
What time does Centrelink payments go into bank account
Hi Shaun - There isn't a set time that payments go into accounts, but typically, Government payments such as those from Centrelink will generally arrive in the account in the early hours of the morning if processed as a part of their normal payment schedule.
How many years before I cannot access previous bank statements online?
Hi Monty - You are currently able to access statements that we have issued for your membership number as far back as when we moved to electronic statements back in 2008. If you have joined Beyond Bank as a part of a merger, we will provide you access to statements we have issued and any that were in a format able to be included in our archive during the merger process. ^SR
Thank you.
Is there cardless cash
Do you do careless cash
Hi Krystal - You can withdraw without a card at any of our branches - external link - you can also access your funds using our mobile payment options such as Apple Pay, Samsung Pay or Google Pay without needing to have your physical card on you. Unfortunately, at the present time, we do not have the option to access cash without a card other then at a branch. Sorry about that. ^SR
Hello, I was wondering if an application time frame for a home loan is 10 business days, and they request a document on day 9, how much longer do you think I will have to wait? :) eager first home buyer!
I have no idea as it is many (20?) years since I needed a loan from Beyond Bank or indeed anyone.
Hi Bee - The exact timeframe can vary a little depending on the complexity and the additional information needed, but once we have all the documentation the team will work through getting that approval for you as quickly as possible. If you do need a hand following up at any point with it, though, please do let us know on 13 25 85. ^SR
How do I deposit via atm without physical card after hours in south Melbourne as per previous phone chat?
I've never attempted something this advanced. If you're talking about a cheque deposit then I'd go to the closest PO with your Beyond Bank account name, BSB and account number. If you're talking cash deposit I'd do same. In any event when it comes to deposits, I'd want to hand it over to SOMEONE live, rather than some deposit box, but that's just me.
Hi Fender - Unfortunately without a physical card you aren't able to currently deposit into your account in South Melbourne after the branch hours. If you do have a card you can deposit funds at Australia Post during post office hours but unfortunately, that is currently the only alternative in that area. ^SR
How do I register my mobile number for quick transfers

What time will my Centrelink Receipts be deposited into my account each fortnight? Will 1st deposit take longer than subsequent deposits
Hi Kriste - Unfortunately there is not an exact time that the payment will clear into the account each time, however, Centrelink payments are usually available in the account in the early hours of the morning on the payment day advised by Centrelink. ^SR
Hi i just open a account with you how long will it be for i now its open thanks i got no email to say its open
Hi Ben - Sorry you have not received the welcome email, this would generally be sent automatically within 1-2 business days. Our team would go through and verify your provided documentation. During this time the account access would be limited, however, if you did want to confirm that it is all in place and get any help with accessing the account details then our team would be happy to assist further with this for you on 13 25 85, or in any of our branches. ^SR
Would you consider making Australia Post a banking option for your customers?
Probably not. Unless things change dramatically they can’t handle the amount of work they already have, give them more to do and they will only get worse.
Hi Mel, the good news is we do support Bank@Post as an option. Due to increases in fees from Australia Post over the last couple of years, there are higher fees for the service - but it does give you a choice if you are travelling or a branch isn't nearby. For example, on our Purple Transactor account these fees are: Withdrawals using Bank@Post: $4.50 Deposits using Bank@Post: $2.00 The full list can be found in our Fees & Charges booklet (starting page 7): external link Hopefully that helps answer your question :) ^MA
How do I get my biller code
Dale, the biller code is supplied by the supplier you want to pay via BPay. If you click on the BPay symbol on their website there will be the six digit biller code and then a much longer account code. You need both to make your payment.
Can I deposit via any ATM or do I have to go to a branch. Thinking of banking with Beyond, but depositing is a key factor
Hi James, thank you for considering Beyond Bank for your banking. Unfortunately, you cannot deposit money via an ATM. You can go into one of our branches to deposit money for free, or do so at a Bank@Post service for a fee of $2.00 per transaction. Or, you can use internet banking or our mobile app to do electronic transfers between bank accounts for free. ^EL
Has my card been activated
