tyre pressure on215/60r16 95v allrounders
Hello James, Thank you for your enquiry. The tyre size you are enquiring about fits multiple vehicles so tyre pressures vary from vehicle to vehicle. Please refer to the tyre placard for specific pressures relating to your vehicle. Alternatively, please call 13 26 25 to be connected to your nearest Bob Jane T-Marts to discuss further.
I was told at Bob Jane Fountain Gate that the Bob Jane All-rounder is made by Bridgestone, so I went and purchased 6 tyres - is this correct?
Hello Ross,
It is correct. Please contact feedback@bobjane.com.au if you would like to discuss further.

Are these tyres directional?
Bought 4 tyres from bob jane Darwin. Have a van with suv tyers as the plackard says it needs. I told bob jane what car it is. They also fitted them to the car. I found out after leaving that they are passenger car tyres with a lower load rating. I rang up and was told they can fix it at $80 per tyre extra. I said this is unacceptable as they are professionals apparently and should know how to know what tyres are needed. Since then i have filed a complaint with the ACCC. Waiting to hear a response.
You say you have a van then say you told Bob Jane what 'car' it is and had 'them fitted to the car'. I am still confused whether you have a van or a car. Maybe they were confused what you wanted also. Does the $80 per tyre extra relate to the price difference between what they fitted and what you now expect them to fit? If so that would be a reasonable extra amount.
Hello NMFC90,
For the matter to be investigated, please provide your registration or invoice number to feedback@bobjane.com.au

Hi, I was told to fit these AllRounder tyres to my Camper Trailer. Its a 4 wheel trailer( not an off road type) and weighs in at 1400kgs loaded. I can't see anywhere on the tyres ( 175 65 R14 ) what the maximimum recommended tyre pressure is.
A trailer manufacturer told guy me to pump them up to max to get less sway/bobble in the trailer when traveling.
Can you suggest the maximum pressure please.
cheers
They are deadly tyres in the wet..,will never buy again
We would recommend inflating the tyre to 34 psi to carry the 1400 KG load as the tyre has a load index of 82 and a speed symbol listing of H.
The maximum tyre pressure for this tyre is 35.71 psi as the tyre is only a standard load indexed tyre.
240kPa will suit.
Get into a good practice of checking all your tyres every couple of refills. Peace of mind is priceless.
I have a Mondeo TDCI diesel 2011 hatchback. At the moment it has Pirelli 215/50 R17's on it but they now need replacing. We do a lot of long long distance travelling. Can you recommend something good to replace the Pirelli's at around $150 per tyre. I am going to inflate them with nitrogen.
Thanks for your help.
Rob
Hi, First go to Bob Jane and see what the range and prices are Pirelli are an expensive tyre. Nitrogen is a sell up and is to no benefit to motor vehicle car tyres. Nitrogen is put in Jet air craft tyres due to the massive speeds and heat they build up. This will never benefit you in car tyres.
Never bother with nitrogen fill in your tires truly a waste of money. There can be problems with very wet air if used for a fill but if they have been filled from an air source that has a proper air drier installed it will make no difference. The dew point should be below 10c easy to get with a standard water trap.
Hello,
I have got Hundai Getz 2008 model. I drive this car almost 200 kms everyday and 5 days a week. Size of the tyre is 175/65/R14. What price can I get for this size. Will it be good to have Bridgestone All rounder? Friend of mine is recommending me Hancook company's tyres. Can you please list the adventages of having Bridgestone over the Hancook.
Thanks
Hi Lucas_Gary, The Hankook tyre is a good tyre, however we do believe the Bob Jane Allrounder tyre is a tyre that offers our customers exceptional service and reliability in the value for money range of products offered in the market. We have found this tyre to give customers good mileage and perform well in all conditions. Not to confuse you but just to clarify the following, Bridgestone do manufacture this tyre for us, but is clearly branded Bob Jane Allrounder, and is only sold through the Bob Jane T-Mart Channel.
This tyre also comes with a Road Hazard Warranty program whereby if you happen to have the misfortune of damaging or injuring your tyre through normal driving conditions, with 75% or greater tread remaining, we will repair or replace that tyre free of charge for you.
After you have worn more than 25% (less than 75% remaining) we will replace your tyre on a pro-rata basis or repair your tyre for 50% of a normal repair charge. We have been offering this warranty program for a long period of time with a large number of customers benefitting from this program and seeing the large mileage you are doing, this may be of interest to you. Looking at the mileage you are doing though, I would like to recommend also that you do look at the next level of tyres available to you. The difference between this level and the previous level is not necessarily more mileage in your tyres, but more so this level has more technological advancements in steering control, breaking in the wet, high speed cornering and rolling resistance.

Your final decision needs to be based on what is more important to you. Is it value for money, comfort or performance.

Bob Jane All Rounders on a Ford Futura
Not bloody rocket science! And not good enough!!
Hi F Leister, Tyre pressures are recommended by the vehicle manufacturer, not the tyre manufacturer or retailer. The best way to determine the correct pressures for your vehicle is to refer to the Tyre Placard on the vehicle to ensure the correct pressure for that make and model.
Kind Regards,
Customer Service.
Hot Tyres that have been driven on 38 PSI is a good inflation level
